What the hell? Why are his eyes glowing? And why are they red? What's his problem?

The last thing I remember was running away from town, more specifically running away from a pack of werewolves. I was in debt and couldn't pay them back, they snapped and tried to kill me. So I ran, I ran away and lost them as I stumbled into a creepy warehouse along the way, they didn't follow me inside which was weird.

It's true that after the war that happened in 2040, some creatures went extinct.

The biggest example among these creatures was vampires. After the war, no one knows what had happened to them, so they assumed that they were wiped out.

Some others think otherwise, like me, I think that they went into hiding, and after many years of searching for proof, he was standing right in front of me.

He stalked closer, his eyes were the only source of light that could highlight his body, did I stumble upon his nest? It's just a warehouse...

Although he was in front of me, I wanted to keep some distance because who knows what would happen if I did something wrong.

"You survived... Your kind survived..." My voice was barely audible, but I'm sure he heard it, the male tilted his head as he slowly stalked toward me.

" 'My kind'? We weren't the only ones that went 'extinct' you know." I began slowly walking backward when I felt him getting too close, I could see his lips lift into a smile as a chuckle escapes his mouth.

"You know, sirens, mermaids, goblins, and centaurs... They all exist, you just refuse to believe so." he was getting dangerously closer with every step, and I gulped harshly as my back hit a hard surface.

Fucking great, just what I wanted. I'm being cornered by a vampire.

He halted, looking me up and down, then leaned in closer. "Did you know that most creatures that were called 'extinct' are still alive?"

I tried to control my breathing, I wasn't scared, I was nervous.

I blinked slowly and nodded, "You're living proof of one of them, no?" my head pulled back as it touched the wall behind me, his breathing was very loud, any sudden move and I would be done for.

His lips turned up, smirking and letting out a scoff. "I didn't think you'd be this smart." the vampire's voice was hushed, making me question why he was speaking in a low tone.

My eyebrows lift into confusion, "Why are you-" the male's hand clasped around my mouth, cutting me off and preventing me from speaking.

His nose lifts into the air as he sniffs it, cursing under his breath, he starts pushing me through a door. "I take back what I said. You were being followed by werewolves?!" the vampire hissed in a hushed tone, he was angry. "I thought I'd lost them! And they couldn't even move inside!"

A groan could be heard from the male in front of her, clicking his tongue and biting his lips in irritation, "Your stupid plan was to kill me with your werewolf friends?" I was irritated by that statement, friends? I wasn't even planning on stumbling into him!

"At this rate, both of us will die if we don't do something!" my voice was a little bit louder, annoyance lacing my tone as I stared at him, his eyes widened as he covered my mouth once more. "Are you crazy?! Do you want to get caught and slaughtered?" I realized he was still holding onto me, I quickly shrugged him off and crossed my arms.

Both of us were getting impatient, he ran a hand through his blonde hair and rested his hands on his hips. "I'm leaving, I don't give a shit about how you get out. This is your problem." he shrugged and started to walk away, making sure to bump shoulders with me.

I turned around and stared at him in disbelief, that asshole.
