March 4 ,2034. 5:23 p.m.

"Dollie Lynn Shackelburry , were the heck have you been!" Cried out Mama Avery. She rushed towards Dollie who clambered into the room covered head to toe in gravel and red dust sand.

"Sorry mama," said Dollie, slipping off her helmet and placing it on the oxe-air charger. "I lost track of time looking for Margie, and didn't realize that the sandstorm would come so soon." " Oh for heavens sake, why did you choose today of all days to look for Margie," stated Mama Avery, as she helped Dollie tug off her astro-shoes.

Dollie shrugged, the truth was she wasn't just looking for Margie. It was also her chance to prove her father, Riker, wrong. Since, she had come back without Margie, she was going to have to try real hard to win over her fathers praise. Ever since she'd accidentally spilled topala on their only computer, Riker distrusted Dollie.

If your wondering what topala is then maybe you should go to mars and buy some. Ha ha ha ha! Sorry it's a settlement joke. Topala is what Mr.Gatuso (Riker's friend) invented as a little square that would liquify into what tasted like pepsi when you added water.

Anyways Back to the future. Get it ,because its not 2034 yet. Man am I just on fire with the jokes today.

Okay as I was saying. Dollie sighed as her mother left the foyer pod. She climbed up the stairs with her shoulders hunched over in shame to her bed pod, which she shared with her twin sister Darcie.

"Ooohhhhh, are you in trouble?" Quizzed Darcie ,as Dollie flopped onto her bunk. "How do you know I'm in trouble," asked Dollie as she peeled off her sweaty insulation jumpsuit." Mama hasn't even given me a punishment yet."

" But she will." Grinned Darcie biting into a chocolate bar, " I heard her talking to father in their bed pod about not letting you leave the house for a week. But then again you'd probably break more things that way." She smiled.

"Hey!" I said hanging my jumpsuit up,"What makes you say that? And where did you get that chocolate bar?"

" I found dad's secret stash," she declared licking the last of her chocolate off her fingers. Dollie gaped at Darcie,"You could get ton of markers at the settlement station for that. But no, you just had to eat it."

" Sheesh, lighten up Dollie I grabbed one for you too." Darcie pulled out another chocolate bar from her canvas knapsack, which hung from the edge of her bunk.

Dollie smiled, she could always count on Darcie to get two of everything. After all, they were fraternal twins. Everyone said they looked identical, but when Dollie dragged Darcie in front of the bath pod mirror she found a whole bunch of differences. Darcie was more like a BFF than a sister.
