So I've been..."proofreading" my past posted chapters, and holy fuck the grammar is so shitty. Can't believe my english is THAT bad. Sorry about that. Then again, I can't say that my grammar would be flawless from here on out, but it definitely would be better.
I'll try my best to fix as many grammatical errors as possible. But hey, nobody's perfect right?
So me leaving for a year is also forgiven right? Hehe

Kiyotaka POV
Sunday morning
After being woken up by the alarm, I decided to take a quick jog for cardio just to maintain my stamina. Since I haven't been working out as hard as I used to do back in the White Room, there hasn't been any opportunities to train my body and improve my physique.
Of course, I don't need to do it yet. After all, I'm going to return back to that place after my job here at Hyakkaou, so I should expect an even harder regimen.
It's been a month ever since I started going to Hyakkaou Academy. In terms of academics, they don't really focus much on academic subjects, but the teachers make sure that they always convey the point of the topic, which is, I guess, the bare minimum.
Even if this school is established for students that came from powerful political families and students with high social statuses, some people still join various clubs that they enjoy.
Nonetheless, the majority of the students think of extra curricular activities as unnecessary, because for them, being well versed in tactics and reading your opponent is much more valuable in terms of general manipulation.
That's a very normal behavior in my current school, and I can't really blame them for thinking that way. It's neither right nor wrong. Either way, they already have the privilege of being born in a rich family, therefore, they have the responsibility of maintaining their image and continuing what their parent's started.
It's a cycle for the socially advantaged people, and that's something that I will experience, too. However, I'd rather not think about it too much.
There's really no point in thinking about the uncertain future. After all, anything can happen.
A meteor might end the world later for all we know.
On my way back, I saw a familiar face in front of the apartment I'm currently staying at. Suzui was leaning against the wall, his hands in his pocket, and it seems like he's listening to music because he's wearing a headset.
Seeing me from his peripheral vision, he waved his hands as a greeting.
"Yo!" Suzui greeted, sounding really energetic.
"Yo. What are you doing here?"
"Well, I'm just walking around the area. Then I remembered you told me that you live somewhere around here, so I tried looking for you." Suzui scratched his head, embarrassed. "I was tired and getting some rest. I didn't know you're living in this apartment specifically. Guess I'm quite lucky."
But why bother to look for me this early in the morning? Does he want something from me, or did he just really thought of finding me just because he's in the area?
For some reason, I don't think his intentions is just that. At the same time, I don't think Suzui is the type to have any ulterior motives.
"Since you're already here, come in. I'm gonna make breakfast. Did you eat already?"
"No, I'm good. I already ate before leaving so I'm still quite full."
"If you say so. Anyway, come in."
