Unexpected

chapter one

IT WAS LATE AT night, Martha and Antione were getting ready for bed when Martha had decided to speak her mind on a something that has been bugging her

" honey I've been thinking" Martha Greens says turning toward her husband on their bed full of rose petals

" I was hoping I fucked all the thinking up out of you but clearly not" her husband Antione grumbles throwing the duvet over his head and turning to face backwards to his wife not tryna hear whatever idea pops up in her head

" Antione come on baby I'm serious about this" she whines shaking her husband and pulling the cover off his head

" I know baby but come on it's 3 o'clock in the morning" he grabs his wife hips and plants her on his lap so that both her leg were straddling his waist

"exactly baby .. the devils hour" she shimmy shakes her upper body as she hops off her husband tiptoe running towards the closet that hide her and her husband greatest secret pleasure

" I thought we left that in the past Martha" he sighed really hoping that his wife would not reopen that door to their past

" cmon we haven't talked them in forever you promised when jani was old enough to move out we would contact them" she complains thinking about her old soul family while setting up her hexagon of candles before sketching out the sign of welcoming for spirits

" listen baby when I said that I did not think there dead asses would actually wanna bother us again because oh I don't know THEY'RE DEAD" he yelled the last part before his wife hurriedly shushed him so that there their twin kids did not wake up or over hear the conversation

" you better watch that mouth bout my momma" she exclaims putting her hand on her hip whilst lighting all the candles around her

" you know what you damn orphan ima let you talk to them just leave me the hell alone ... pun intended" he chuckled to himself laying back down pulling the duvet over his head hoping to smother himself so he wouldn't have to smell the  scent of cinnamon lighted candles

" baby don't be like that okay you know my momma loved you" she says as she sprinkles grains of salt around the set up

" loved to get on my damn nerves"Antoine honestly did not want to get back into the spirit world again once he left he didn't plan on going back he wanted to leave that life in the past especially now that he had kids it was all just to dangerous

" whatever just shut the hell up while I chant"Martha rolls her eyes at her husband who was wrapped in the covers but she didn't miss the little middle finger that popped up from under making her scoff

" hello my Mar Mar" said a older women that popped up from inside the spiritual set up

" mommy" mar mar said excitedly has she jumped up and down wanting to do nothing but hug her mother

" where the hell that ugly ass baby daddy of yours" the older women's husband had said popping up right next to the women

" Gawdamn" antione said roughly pulling the cover off of his head and threw a mini temper tantrum in the bed before finally getting up and walking over to his wife

"hello Ms.Marietta and... Auther" he stifling a laugh at his father in laws name

" see that why ya bitch ass never gon prosper"Auther said shaking his head at the young man that stood in front of him

" guessing you didn't prosper either hence why you're in hell" Antione muttered under breath even though his father in law still heard

" stop all that yapping Aurther we have more important things to talk her about" her mother exclaimed sounding slightly anxious

" mama what's wrong"Mar mar says as she starts to get slightly worried

" you must not contact us anymore there is a strong evil here stronger than satan himself it is no longer safe mar" she explained to her daughter tear on the brim of her eyes knowing that this might in fact be the last time they contact eachother

" Ma wh- Momma did your lights turn off too" their oldest daughter Ajani came through the door looking down at her pink iPhone 13 shocking both her parents

" hey baby um yeah just a shortage"her mother giggled as she hurriedly kick the salt boundary so that her parent would disappear not knowing that not only had she closed somebody out but as well as let someone in

"Is this some freaky role play that I should probably step out on" jani looked up from her phone raising one of her eyebrows after looking behind to what her parent tried to cover up with their bodies

" N-um actually yes so you should get out of here .. like now"Antione said covering up his wifes mouth trying to get his daughter away from the scene as fast as possible

" yeah that's my cue"her eyes widened as she slowly steps backwards and closes the door as she goes out back to her room

On Ajani way back from her room after seeing possible the most traumatic thing ever she couldn't help be see from the corner of her eye she could've sworn a black figure zoomed in her room but she thought nothing of it as she just took as her dog Koko just coming in for cuddles like she does every night with that thought she entered the room herself

But maybe she should've paid a little more attention to that black figure.

umm hey so.... This is awkward I never know what to do at the end of these so I'm just gonna ask...
