Jake has been a great boyfriend but something seemed off about him usually he would cuddle with me all day I would have to beg him to let me go. Jake was being more distant lately and whenever I asked him what's wrong he would just distance himself from me. I went behind Jake while he was on his phone and hugged him from behind. 

Jake: what are you doing

Mason: hugging you

*Jake tries to push Mason away*

*hugs him tighter* ( I'm trying a new writing style) 

Jake: Mason let me go

Mason: no why have you been distant? 

Jake:...

Mason: Jake ANSWER ME!! I AM TIRED OF THIS BEHAVIOR what did I do wrong? 

Jake: you didn't do anything wrong its just... never mind

Mason: will you stop being so distant now

Jake: Mason I'm sorry I can't I don't want to do some thing I will regret 

Mason:Jake what's wrong you can tell me anything you I won't judge you

~ Mason's thoughts~

What's wrong with him he's never been like this before. (  Mason and Jake have been dating for five months already) maybe I could ask his parents no no they don't have a good relationship so they wouldn't know maybe I should ask Mike he is Jake's best friend. *pulls out phone*

~texts between Mason and Mike~

Mason: Mike do you know what's up with Mason

                                                                         Mike: what do you mean? 

Mason: well he's been really distant lately and won't tell me why. 

                                                                               Mike: well I think he should tell you

Mason: I tried asking him but he just got more distant

                                                                           Mike: well it's mating season so he's in heat 

Mason: why does that matter? (He's innocent he doesn't understand what heat is since he hasn't had heat) 

                                                                                Mike: it means he wants to breed

Mason: ok thanks Mike for telling me this i'm going to go talk to him talk to you later bye

                                                                                     Mike: ok talk to you later

*puts phone away* 

~ still Mason's pov~

I went to Jake's room only to find out that he wasn't there but he left a note. 

Dear Mason

I already know that Mike probably told you what i'm going through so I left to go somewhere far away from you until I can find a solution for my heat I don't want to do anything without you consent but I won't be able to control myself around you just know I will always love you goodbye.

Omg where could he have gone I have to find him ok Mason breathe you need to relax panicking will do nothing. Ok if I were Jake were would I go to stay away from someone.... I know he's probably in the cave in the woods behind his old school ok I have to drive there now. 

~ after getting there~

Ok * enters the cave* Jake why us he sitting in the corner

Mason: Jake what's wrong

Jake: *growls*

What he's never growled before I think something is really wrong
