Despite bragging about going to state in football, he was far from the physique that he had when he threw the game winning touchdown back in 88'.
My dad raised up his hands and tossed me the keys from the bottom of the porch steps.
"Nice catch" He remarked.
Any chance he could get, he would comment on my athletics. Even during the offseason. It's all about my training and making sure that I work out and that I am on my strict high protein, low sugar diet.
I had no idea how I was going to tell my dad that I didn't want to play all those sports my junior year.
"Well, I'm just going to enjoy this summer before I make a final decision." I thought.
Looking back on it now, little did I know how much summer would change things.
