Today was my first night at my brothers house since my parents died in a car crash about a month ago. I tried staying with my grandma, but I didn't like it, I hated it. So we made a deal every now and then I would fly over so they can check up on me.
Yeah yeah I know over protective much. I am not really sure if I am going to start school or not. I think that I might start and then I will try to get into college. Notice how I emphasised try. The cab pulled up to my brothers apartment/house I gave him the money for the fee of the cab and got out. I opened the boot to grab my bags. I went into the lobby of my brothers, ok if we are being honest I really don't know what it is anymore. It is sort of like a hotel I guess.
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called my brother. "Hey. I am in the lobby, can you come down. " I just wanted to get some sleep because I was really jet lagged
"Yeah I'll be right down." He hangs up. I take a seat in the lobby and wait for him.
I see the elevator open and I saw him for the first time since the funeral. He pulled me into a hug. "How are you?" It was the simplest of questions but it meant a lot. I really didn't feel that well, I am tired, but that's not what I was going to say.
"Yeah good. Just really tired I guess." I looked up to him.
"Here let me take your bags" oh such a gentlemen he is now. I give in my suitcase and I carry my bag. We walked into the elevator and he pressed 24 and showed me to his apartment. He opened the door and took my bags to my room. "This one is your room. I am having some friends over later, is that ok?" He asked me as if he needed my position.
"Yeah sure u will be sleeping" i smile at him and he walks away. I shut the door and jump onto my neatly made double bed. Soon enough I dozed off to sleep

"Man did you find her on the street." I heard a voice say I didn't want to wake up just yet.
"No she's..." i knew that's was my brother but he got interrupted
"No he picked her up in a bar" what I rolled over to see who it was.
"Shit, shit, shit she's waking up" they rushed out of the door frame. So I couldn't see who it was... I got out of bed and put on some different clothes. I walked into the hallway and into the kitchen where 4 boys were standing.
"How was you rest? Would you like something to eat?" He asked me whilst he opened the pantry
"Yeah it was good and no I think I'm good" I shut the pantry door at him.
"So are you starting at East lakes?" One of my brothers friends asked me.
"Uh... Yeah I am starting in a few days actually." I give him a smile. My brother opened his mouth as if he was going to say something important but then closed it again.
"John over here is holding a party tonight and he was wondering if you wanted to come?" He kind of states it as if he wasn't asking me "isn't that right johnny"
"Yeah I would love you to come" this was the guy who asked me if i was going to East lakes.
"I guess I could come" with that all three of my brothers friends grabbed their stuff and they left.
