OS: Adventures of Savi

Poor Savi was confused at what Ashwini declared now! Her Aai and Baba will live in the same room. Well that wasn't the problem at all!! She always wanted her Aai and Baba to be together and finally the day came.

She and her Vinu Dada were ecstatic throughout the wedding!! After all, they could witness their Aai and Baba 's wedding which they had missed earlier, since their Aai and Baba forgot to invite them..phhff..

They enjoyed all the rituals wholeheartedly. They were the ring bearers during their engagement, danced with them in their Sangeet and enjoyed Haldi ki Holi also with them wholeheartedly!!

But now!! Savi's face fell off hearing that Aai Baba would be with each other but they wouldn't be with them in their room .
Before marriage, they used to sleep with their Aai-Baba alternatively but when they used to wake up, she would find herself sleeping in Vinu Dada's room. Only last night Aai was with her although she was a bit sad too..

She was murmuring something like "Ye Virat bhi na!! Bade aaye rasmon ko maanne, kya problem thi Aai ki baaton ko na manne ke liye, nahi unko toh apshagun nahi karna.. Upar se Kaku bhi.. uff…phone chheen lia aur bole ki Parson subah tak phone unke pass rahega aur Savi ko bhi boldia ki mujhe phone na de..ughh..Dekhlungi Virat ko kal raat..!! Grumpily Sai slept on her side. Savi was now curious to know what would happen the next day. When she called her Vinu Dada, he also affirmed that their baba was also kinda sad while sleeping and made plans to know about the happenings of next night.

But now!! All her plans of knowing about what their parents were talking about started crashing down!! And top of all that their parents have no qualms to sleep without them. They were weirdly giving smiles to each other and forgot that their children were in the room too!!

Savi stood crossed hands while noticing her parents' activity, she even noticed that Vinu Dada had no qualms and was smiling. She was confused and also angry at her Aai-Baba for accepting such weird requests of Badi Ajji and Ajji happily.

She was even more confused when they talked about some good news with their Aai-Baba and Baba not agreeing to that citing Aai's health. She got confused thinking of what good news they are talking about and what happened to her Aai. She frowned more thinking about the good news they were talking about and couldn't understand why Baba was refusing for that. Making a mental note to ask about this to Aai and Baba, she and Vinu Dada went to their Aai and Baba and hugged them.

But before she could ask them, Ajji came and took them away. "Chalo chalo bala. Ab sone ka time ho gaya hai. Kal school bhi hai na, apni Aai Baba ko rest karne do. Aur tum log bhi chalo rest karne." Savi got more angry as Aai didn't even stop them ulta went with Baba to their room. She badly wanted to know about what Aai would do with Baba and what good news they were talking about.

After changing their dresses to night wear, they scooped inside the bed and Ajji was with them reading a story. Still Savi wasn't happy as she needed to sleep with her Aai and Baba but she saw her Vinu Dada sleeping peacefully there.

"Ajji, why can't I sleep with my Aai?" She finally asked Ajji , who was reading a story.

Harini, who was using her mobile phone, smiled weirdly, according to Savi, and replied before her Ajji could do, "Savi..aapke Aai Baba ki shaadi ho gayi na…ab toh woh log ek saath rahenge na ."

"Par Sattu uncle ke sath bhi mai Aai ke saath soti thi Tai.." Savi replied curiously.

Ashwini and Harini laughed a bit mentally and then Harini replied," Kya hai na Savi, sare couples special nahi hote hai but your Aai Baba are special, so they have to stay together, only them. Moreover, don't you want another brother or sister?" Savi nodded her head vigorously as she wanted another person in her team. "So..", Harini continued, " They need to sleep without you."

"But how…" Savi tried to continue the conversation.

"Savi..no ifs and buts, kal aapka school hai na.. ab badi ajji ki baat maano and go to sleep." Harini replied to her while going to her room.

Unable to continue the conversation and also due to the tiredness of the day, Savi slept finally with her Vinu Dada and Ajji.

At midnight,

Savi's eyes suddenly opened. She could see her Vinu Dada sleeping peacefully, and Ajji wasn't in the room either. So she crept down from the bed and silently tip-toed towards her Aai-Baba's room. She was determined to find out the reason and the good news too. And also how she could get another brother or sister through this.

She silently passed from the corridor and started banging on her Aai-Baba's room's door.

"Aai-Baba dalwaza kholo…mujhe aaplogo ke paas aana hai…" she cried from outside.

She could notice the room's lights were on and still no one was coming outside..she started banging the door more loudly.

After sometime, she noticed her Aai came out from the room but she was wearing her Baba's kurta. She got more curious then.

"Baba ye loom pe Bhukamp aaya tha kya. Saale kapde bhikle kyun hai.." Savi asked Baba curiously when he took her in arms to the bed.

Virat was embarrassed at his cutie's question but he still tried to quench the curiosity of his Mini-Toofan Mail, "Arre waah Savi aap kitne intelligent ho, but Bala apne Aai-Baba ko promise karo ki ye baat kal aap kisiko nahi bataoge.." he silently prayed that his Majhi-Aai wouldn't open her mouth the next day.

"Okay Baba." Savi replied obediently as she crawled towards Aai who was arranging the bed for some reason. Finally!! She was back to her Aai and now can sleep nicely.

Once she was back to her Aai, Savi finally started her question bank which she was eager to start.

"Why can't I sleep with you guys any more? What's Good news Aai? Will I get a brother or a sister as Harini Tai was suggesting?"

Sai was totally embarrassed and was blushing at Savi's question and was also praying mentally that Savi is satisfied with the answers.

"Savi.. now you are a big girl na..you should try to sleep without us bala..see Vinu dada sleeps so peacefully, you should also try, and it's a bad manners bala to eavesdrop on an elder's questions. And if you behave as a good girl and a sister, then you might get a brother or sister. Otherwise No!! So be a good girl and from next day sleep in your Vinu Dada's room." Sai finally tried to convince Savi and was a bit angry at Virat who was making a bit of fun at her expense.

"Aapko toh mai baad mein dekh lungi.." she murmured as she put down Savi to sleep.

Here Savi could hear faintly, her Baba is saying something about her younger brother/sister while she finally fell asleep.
