**: flashbacks jake. y/n's first love and little did she know she was his the 2 year age gap never bothered him. from the day of her 16th birthday he knew that he loved her, he had feeling towards her previous but never expressed them as he thought alex would not approve as he is so protective of her.
*y/n's 16th birthday* y/n pov: i woke up and was so excited to get started with the day. i jumped out of bed and tan downstairs where my brother and mother sat. as the smile drained from my face i asked "where is dad" "i'm sorry my love he had to take care of business"- mother "no suprise there" "i know honey but you know he only does it to provide for us"-mother ,mumbled,"yeah sure whatever" "cmon bab come and open your presents"-alex the name of 'bab' that alex gave me ever since i was little as soon as he said it i felt back home again. after opening my cards and presents i had breakfast and lounged around for the day and my friends came over and gave me their presents as i was having a huge party in the night where everyone was invited including jake and some more of alex's friends and my friends where getting ready with me. later on when it was a couple of hours before the party we decided to start getting ready i got in the shower first and when i got out i started to do my hair and makeup before i got dressed y/n's makeup:
