"Fleurette I'm sorry, truly- had I known this would happen I would have never-" Eden pleaded for forgiveness from her lover, had she not pursued this relationship, this wouldn't had happened. Her voice was shaky and she couldn't help but feel this was all her fault. "Shh ma belle, there was no way we could've known. When we're with each other it feels as if we own the world. It's easy to get reckless with a wonderful person like you." Fleurette reached through the bars and wiped the tears off her face, Eden taking her hand and kissing it. "How could you say that? I am a loyal maid who is to be banished from this manor just for loving you. You are the duke's own blood, I don't know how he could execute his daughter then ask everyone to act as if she never existed!"
Eden cusped her had and couldn't help but sob. She was furious but she couldn't stop. "I don't want to loose you, maybe I could get you out. We could runaway together. Please." They both knew her attempts would only be vain. The mansion had security everywhere and the key was kept with the duke nor was there anything to pick the lock. "It's okay. I promise it will be alright, I beg of you to find happiness. I'll be with you every step of the way."

As dusk approached Fleurette could feel the cold embrace of the reaper. She couldn't help but feel pitiful. Her title lost, the respect she worked hard to gain was gone, and her soulmate was to be ripped away. Guards got her out of the dark cell and brought her to have her attire changed. This would be her last ever meal. Dignified she accepted this fate. Fleurette decided to act as if this was just a nice dinner her handmaids were clothing her for, except, her most cherished one wasn't there. Closing her eyes she blinked away tears. Walking through the corridor, Fleurette was wearing a gown that was absolutely lovely. Her most graceful and expensive one yet and handcrafted just for her that she looked astonishing in.
Her father watched her walk down the stairway, giving Fleurette loathing, disappointed, stare. As if he was the one being betrayed. It pained her to see the man she always looked up to act this way. She knew he was distant but this was something she wouldn't have expected. The meal was grand but nearing the end there was a lump in her throat. Oh how she wanted to breakdown right then and there. Fleurette refused to though, she didn't care if she was viewed as vile, all those years of proving to people she could keep a cool head would not go to waste. She was worthy of inheriting everything here. They all knew it. Nobody dared going against her father though.
After dessert she was then escorted to the garden, here she was sat down on a frigid stone bench then given a glass of finely aged imported wine. The drink held poison and this would be her execution. Fleurette was aware this was her end.

Eden was sent to work for another family all the way in Germany. A heavy feeling crushed her chest and Eden felt hollow. The new family she worked for was never given the reason as to what she was sent away for, as far as they knew she was just a gift from their business partner. Another worker there showed Eden the ropes and they grew to be close friends.
Fleurette was true to her word of being there every step. After death she was confused as to what happened. She woke up in what appeared to be a marble temple and was clad in all white and gold. It took a moment for her to realize something was weighing on her back. Gorgeous pearly, feathery, wings elegantly draped. As she walked around the temple more she found a stone tablet on a pedestal in the middle of the room. Miniature harp and a quiver with arrows with was accompanying. Not too far away lay an intricately carved into bow. Cautiously, Fleurette walked up to the pedestal noticing writing on the tablet. Whilst reading her heart sunk.
A cherub was what she had become and was assigned to guide a special soul into finding a tender passion for them. It was required of Fleurette to find Eden a new love. All the rules and instructions on the tablet were engraved into her memory. She couldn't reach out to her now and couldn't be seen or heard.
Now she was watching over Eden, having to be the one to set her up with her new friend. Fleurette's lip trembled and tears pricked her eyes as she shot those arrows. Forever more she had to watch her soulmate grow a new love for someone else. Of course she wished Eden joy but she couldn't help but yearn. Fleurette longed to be the one Eden would have a life with. Every little touch of their hands, every locking of eyes, and every sincere moment was caused by her. The first year of Eden being at the new mansion she sent a little prayer to Fleurette. After time she grew to neglect that. It felt as if she was being forgotten.
"Why couldn't I have been your happiness?"
