"Sir Akutagawa! Somebody has came for the role of your servant!" My maid, Higuchi, said running up to me.

"Okay, send them in." I replied. She ran out and soon returned with a boy, about 2 years younger than me and uneven white hair. I stared at him and noticed his eyes, purple with yellow.

"Good evening, what makes you think you're worthy for the role of my servant?" I ask. He bowed down and spoke, "I have served many kings and kingdoms for years, I have much experience and I confirm that I will be able to serve you as you wish."

I stared at him and saw the honesty in his eyes, "very well, I accept your service." I said, I turned to my maid, "Higuchi, take him to the room I have prepared, I give him 1 million dollars to decorate it any way he chooses." I said.

She took his hand and led him to the room up the stairs, I looked at the window, noticing the grave of my grandfather in the garden we had specifically made for him who included his favorite flowers and plants. "Oh how I wished you were still here to guide me into becoming a worthy king." I thought to myself before walking to my bedroom.

I noticed Nakajima staring at me as I changed. "Do you need something?" I asked, but quickly noticed him run off, jeez what's his problem? I grant him permission to even walk in the palace gates and he doesn't even answer. I noticed he had dropped a necklace, I walked over to where he was standing before. I quickly picked it up and opened it, a photo of him and his family when he was a child? Pathetic.

'Wait, the only reason why I'm criticizing him was because as a child I never got the love he seemed to get. I always got forced to train to become a king and never got time to play with the kids in the village nearby.' I quickly realized I was smiling and shook it off.

I walked into the room and noticed he had already decorated it, lights and posters everywhere. I walked over to a photo on his shelf and quickly noticed a picture of me as a child. I put the necklace back and heard him coming, so I hid behind his desk.

He walked in and took the picture of me, "you know, you really look like the prince I'm serving. I've been serving many different kings and princes in search of you. I really hope I'm right about this." I heard him say, I heard him coming to the desk so I quickly rolled under the bed and ran out.

I noticed my face flustered in the mirror, "what does he mean about that?! We never met, did we?" I thought and quickly got a flashback.

"I don't wanna leave Atsu, mother!" I yelled, "Ryunosuke, listen to me, we have to go. If anybody figures out you were out here, there's gonna be trouble!" She yelled back. I ran over to atsushi and hugged him tight, "please don't leave me..." Atsushi said with tears in his eyes, "I'm sorry! I promise we'll meet again!" I said, crying into his chest.

"I promise too! I'll find you again!" He cried, we soon got separated by my mother dragging me into our car.

~

"It's him?!" I said, I opened the door and saw him on the bed crying. "Nakajima? What's wrong?" I asked, "You have important stuff to do! I don't matter!" he yelled through sobs, I cant believe I'm doing this.

I walked over to him and hugged him tight, "a-are you really him?" He asked, I nodded and picked him up. "Come on, we both kept our promises of reuniting." I replied. I stared at his face for a while before noticing him stare back at mine.

I saw his face getting red so I put him back on his bed, "I'll make you something. Tell me now what you want to eat." I said, looking at him. "Tea on rice?" He asked, I nodded and walked out. "What was that note under his bed for?" I thought to myself.

~

"Higuchi. Call down Nakajima." I said, "sir really?! Isn't that your servant? I can do what you ne-" "I said, call him down."

Me and Atsushi had finished eating until Higuchi had ran back over to us to collect the plates. "Oh sir, your father has arrived from his trip." She told me. I walked out and over to the gates and watched as he arrived. I bowed down as he walked through the door. "Son. Who's this?" He asked me, looking over to Atsushi who had bowed. "My servant, Atsushi Nakajima. I'll introduce him fully to you later." I replied. "Hello Nakajima. I hope you can serve my son well." He said.

"I promise." Atsushi replied. "Please go get the crown from the room right next to mine." I said, he nodded and walked up stairs. "He looks great for you." My father said, letting out a slight laugh, "dad!" I yelled while having a slight blush on my face. "Oh come on. You looked at him in that way!" He replied, laughing. I walked into my room ignoring him.

~

Did I really fall in love with my servant?! And this quickly!? I only had him as my servant for a day, I mean, as a child when I would sneak out to the village to play with him, I had a crush on him...

I heard a knock on my door, "come in." I said, "oh I just wanted to ask if it was fine if I called you ryu.." I heard a voice say. I turned my head and saw Atsushi. "Of course. I mean, we are or were very close." I said. He smiled and hugged me but quickly pulled away. "Oh uh sorry!" He said, "oh no it's fine!" I reassured him, "you gave my father his crown right?" I asked, he nodded and hugged me again, I hugged him back tightly. "I missed you." He said, "me too." I replied.

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your mother?" He said, "We had to execute her. She was part of a Mafia who was out to kill many kingdoms, including ours." I replied, "oh, I hope your family is doing better." He said, i moved him onto my lap and hugged him more tight.

"Oh am I interrupting something?" I heard my father ask from the door. Me and Atsushi quickly pulled away while blushing hard. "Sorry!" Atsushi yelled, "it's okay, I know you both like each other" he teased, I saw Atsushis face go more red as he hid his face in my chest. My father giggled before walking out.

I started to play with Atsushis hair before we both fell asleep.
