Cobra Chickens

You and Sodo are walking around the ministry courtyard when you spot something out of the corner of your eye. You turn to look at it, it smells like anything you've ever known. "What's that?" you ask pointing in the direction of what you think is a kind of bird. "I think that's a bird," Sodo says, looking in the direction of where you're pointing. "But it looks too big to be a bird." You reply, turning your head in curiosity.  You inch closer to the large bird, trying to make better sense of it, Sodo close behind you. The strange long-necked bird turns to look at both of you.  It keeps a close eye on you, as you creep closer.  You and Sodo are a few feet away when it makes a strange sound, almost like a hiss. You cringe back away from it, bearing your teeth, growling at it. Sodo creeps a little closer when the bird snaps at him, he scrambles back, "Whoa what the hell?!" The bird quickly moves toward the both of you.  "Go, go, go, go!" you exclaim to Sodo, as you desperately try to get away from the monstrous bird thing that's charging at you. You and Sodo start to sprint away as the bird continues to chase you. "How the fuck is this thing so fast?!" you yell as the bird snaps at your tail. "Ahh, what in Satan's name?! There's more!" Sodo cries as you both sprint across the courtyard, trying to get to the Abbey doors.  You see Swiss near the doors, "Swiss! Open the door, open the fucking door!" you scream at him as now multiple birds are chasing you. Swiss stares in shock at the flock of birds that are following closely behind you and Sodo.  "Open the damn door!" Sodo hisses at Swiss as you get closer to the Abbey. Swiss quickly opens the door as the three of you scramble inside, slamming it closed.  You crouch on the ground trying to catch your breath.  "Are you three alright?" Copia says. He had been walking past the door when the three of you practically fell into the Abbey. "What the hell are those things." You say pointing at the door, referring to the birds that had just chased you. Copia peers through the window, "Oh, those are just Canadian geese. They are terrible creatures." "Yeah, no shit, those fuckers chased us across the courtyard," Sodo growls, waving his hand around.  "Ah, yes, well, they'll do that." "Cobra chickens." "What?" Copia looks at you, confused. "They're cobra chickens." You say, getting up from where you're crouching. "Why do they chase people?" "Ah cara mio, I'm not 100% sure, I think it's cause they're territorial or something," Copia says with a shrug. "They shouldn't be, this is our territory," Sodo says before walking away. "I'd love to stay and chat, but I really should get back to work, I'll see you later," Copia says before walking down the hall in his brisk manner.   You turn down one of the many corridors towards the kitchen to find something to eat.
