Every summer since they were born, the Adler family went left their cozy home in Charlotte, North Carolina and took a long drive to Cousins Beach to join the Conklin's and Fisher's family at their usual summer vacation home.

The moms had been friends forever, despite the extreme distance from eachother for 10 months of the year. Scarlett Alder had moved down to South Carolina after she met her husband Mark and had their two daughters.

Their two daughters were almost complete opposite. Their youngest daughter Cecelia dreamed of being a journalist she'd rather talk through writing than actually speaking. She loved to capture every beautiful moment their was through a camera.

Then their was their oldest, Hallie She was a hardcore athlete who lived and died for Volleyball being one of the best in her state. She had been called the stereotype sporty girl, Competitive and assertive with a twist of enthusiastic and sarcasm. People thought she was intimidating but behind that harsh exterior she was a ball of sunshine.

Their dad was barley in the picture, but their three mother figures had made up for that. Scarlett was a good mom, she adored her kids and would do anything for them. Being a single mom she just had more responsibility, which made her a busy women.

The beach house was their second home and every summer was the same, the siblings would spend their whole summer with their second families and it was their favourite time of the year.

But almost two years ago everything changed between them, the moment Conrad Fisher made a move on Hallie Adler. They were best friends, no one knew Hallie as well as Conrad and vice versa. Everyone around them had always seen that the two were destined to be together and that's why, when their relationship started everyone was beyond happy.

Conrad Fisher was alluring to her, he was very quite and brooding. He pulled people in because of his mysterious outside but with Hallie as he was quirky, louder and happy.

They had a good run, until last summer. It was difficult having 7 other people being apart of their relationship. It became too much, there was to much pressure on them.

And when Conrad went to the annual debutante ball with a girl other than Hallie, That was the end of that. It wasn't that important of an event to her but she felt like a fool when he wasn't by her side. They hadn't spoken to eachother since.

But it was time for a reunion and they had no choice. What will happen when you stick two exes in a house where they had no choice but to speak to each other.
