Skylars p.o.v After breakfast I was washing the dishes and I could hear Sam talking to the boys at the table "I want Quil with Jacob and Embry today , tonight will be Jared Paul and I" I frown I didn't actually know what the boys jobs were but I knew that Paul was exhausted daily and gone every night, something I've also noticed with Sam.
"Mumma, can I stay at Alice's tonight?" Niki voice broke me from my thoughts "why don't you give her a call and ask baby" I say handing her my phone I let the plug out of the sink "Nice seeing you again Sky" Jacob called out as three of the boys left, Jared and Paul followed talking to them I felt a presence behind me making me spin around seeing Sam he smiles warmly "did I hear that you might have a kid free night?" He almost looked like a nervous school boy I smile softly "possibly if Nik can rope Alice into a sleepover" he frowns slightly at the mention of Alice but then smiles "does that mean I might get the chance to steal you away for abit?" He smiles warmlyI felt the butterflies in my stomach go crazy and I nod speaking in a quiet voice "I'm sure I can make time for you Mr Uley" he cocks an eyebrow smirking walking closer "so it's Mr Uley now?" I laugh and Niki runs in "She said yes! I've already packed my bag let's go!!" Excitement radiating off her making me smile and grab my keys off the bench before I look up to Sam "I'm not an easy girl to impress Sam, but I'll be ready at 5 o'clock" i wink before I walk past him "cmon kiddo before you burst with excitement" I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my mind as I walk away.
Alice and Rosalie were waiting outside as we pulled up "thank you for letting her stay over girls" Rosalie smiles warmly she was actually Nikis god mother "of course Sky don't be silly she's always welcome you know that!" I smile and Rosalie walks into the house with Niki as Alice berms at me "your glowing! , you have a date" i roll my eyes laughing "you say that every time, but yes your right I think I do have a date" she squeals clapping her hands "follow me I already have your outfit planned!" I laugh shaking my head "how do you always know!" She smirks pointing to her head "it's a gift" I shake my head "that's why your my stylist you know" she laughs and leads me into a room with a rack of clothes going straight to a yellow sundress "this colour will complement your completion" she states before dragging me to a chair "now to tame the mane, what are we doing with your hair?" I smiled this is why I loved working with Alice she always had a plan but would always want my input "go crazy Alice do whatever you need to do to make me gorgeous" she rolled her eyes "your already gorgeous" she scoffs before taking a second to think "okay I know what I'm doing"

Leaving my natural curls and only applying minimal makeup by the time she was done I grinned "Alice once again you've outdone yourself!" She dusts imaginary dust off her shoulders "don't act shocked it's what I do" I smile and get up and give her a hug "look after my daughter" she grins "go have fun" she shoos me out and before I know it I'm driving back to LaPush.
When I pull up to Sam's house I could see Paul talking to Jacob about something I sigh watching how they spoke about something that looked important before I could dwell on the thought any longer my phone rang and my managers name popped up "hey Lurie" I answer "how's my favourite girl!" I laugh "that sounds like you've booked something?" She laughs "you know me too well, but I think with the new album coming it seems like perfect timing ya know what I mean kiddo" I see Paul say goodbye to Jacob and start walking to my car "what's the job?" I ask knowing I had about 20 seconds before Paul came over "well I want you with a piano nothing more like a rehearsal jam session but we're going to film it and realise it before the album drops , cause abit of attention and once the album drops ive already booked you into 3 tv shows and five radio shows so in about a month life is going to be busy" I grin "that's why I love you Laurie you've always got a plan" she laughed "okay I'll be in forks in two weeks enjoy your break" the phone cut out and my door opened "Look at you all dressed up and girlie, who are you trying to impress" Paul teases and I get out of the car shoving him "shut up douche" he snickers "oooo Skylar has a cruuuush" i roll my eyes "can you At least tell me if I look nice?" He smiles and nods "you look gorgeous Sky" I smile and he walks me to the house "so, Jared and I have taken the liberty of giving the boss man the night off" i scoff "what do you guys even do?" He frowns but smiles quickly "top secret tribe work" i roll my eyes "whatever" I go to walk into the house but Paul grabs my hand stopping me I look at him and see his serious protective brother face "if he hurts you Sky, you tell me" I smile and squeeze his hand "we're just hanging out Paulie I promise" he nods and smiles "oh and don't hurt him, his a marshmallow" I giggle waving goodbye as he ran off into the woods and walk into Sam's house where I was met with the most beautiful smell.
