you said putting your focus back to making food.

her face clearly showed that she didn't believe you but she dropped it, partly because sawamura and furuya were arguing about why they lost.

of course watanabe tried to put a stop to it since a meeting was starting soon.

the meeting was finally over.

you stretched your arms a bit and yawned. staying up late last night probably wasn't the best idea...

maybe you should get a energy drink, you still had homework to do after all.

you quickly made your way over to the vending machine, this time opting for an energy drink instead of your normal peach juice.

thankfully this time you weren't spooked when someone called out to you.

"hi senpai."
a familiar first year spoke.

"hi okumura."
you said with a warm smile.

he must've been coming to get a drink as well, so you stepped out of the way. he went up to the machine, pressing the button for peach juice.

"you like peach juice too?"
you asked him.

"this is my first time trying it."
he said reaching down for his drink.

"really? what made you want to try it?"
you said after taking a sip of your drink.

"we-well I always see you drink it, so I was curious."
okumura said, eyes locked onto his juice.

"it's pretty good!"
you said with a smile.

he glanced at you before taking a sip.

"yeah...it's pretty good."
he said.

"told you!"
you spoke cheerfully.

he took another sip of his drink, this time longer.

"you like peaches senpai?"
okumura asked.

"mhmm! their my favorite fruit."
you said nodding your head.

"I figured...my jacket smells like peaches now."
he said stealing a glance at you.

your eyes widened a bit.

"oh do you not like the smell? I'm sorry!"
you sputtered out the words.

"no I do."
he reassured you.

"ah, that's a relief."
you said with a chuckle.

"well I really should get going senpai."
he said with a ghost of a smile.

"you know you can just call me by my name."
you said.

he had helped you out a decent amount of times, so you thought it'd be okay.

"(l/n)-senpai...?"
he said slowly.

"well I wouldn't mind you using my first name..."
you said bashfully.

he looked shocked at that, before nodding stiffly.

"then you can also call me by my first name..."
the boy said looking to the side.

"alright...see you ko-koushuu."
your face felt a bit hot.

"bye (f/n)-senpai..."
he said before walking off.

you could've sworn his ears were red, he was quite cute.
