The guardians headquarters was dusty and dark. Pictures of Hungary catching more attention than the usually used to. Despite Hungary being the only guardian who fought with a crystal instead of a choosing always made her unique compared to the others. But she always felt useless compared to them. It was never their intention to make her feel that way though, neither could they have told that she was thinking that way, until proving that she was worthy to be a guardian, she was nothing but a girl with a sword wanting to be a hero. Well, now she became the hero she always wanted to be, despite being mostly stupid and stubborn during missions, her company was always something that you could never get tired of. Especially to Poland. At first, Poland didn't want to befriend any of the other countries since his issues with Germany left a huge scar. Hungary was patient with his trauma and never left his side no matter how bad his description of others has gotten. That's probably who Poland felt most attached to Hungary than any of his other friends, let's not forget, Poland managed to befriend the other countries also because of Hungary's help and advice on socialising. She played an enormous part in his life as a student guardian, it's only normal that her leaving so suddenly broke him in many ways. Even if destiny was already decided for Hungary, Poland would do anything to change things back to how they were.

Eventually, as he was lost in thoughts, Austria-Hungary caught him staring at a photo of him and Hungary as student guardians in the hallway. He couldn't keep in the tears as he quietly sobbed at the mere sight of seeing his best friends face even in pictures.

Austria-Hungary: "Poland? Are you okay?" He asked, clearly concerned for the boy.

Poland: "Oh. Hi, Austria-Hungary." He said, trying to sound as if he hadn't shed tears earlier. "I was just doing a little dusting." He chuckled nervously. "Got some dust in my eyes i think."

Austria-Hungary: "It's okay." He placed a reassuring hand on Poland's back.

Poland: "I didn't even get to say goodbye." His voice sounded weird since it was mixed with emotional pain.

Austria-Hungary: "Neither did I." He said as he removed the hand from Poland's back to look at the picture.

A certain something then came to Poland's mind.

Poland: "Oh, she said to tell you something." His voice sounded more enthusiastic. "Something about cookies?"

Austria-Hungary: "Cookies?" He looked confused.

Poland: "Oh, yeah. She said, 'Tell my father, that's the way the cookie crumbles.'"

Austria-Hungary was left speechless, he heard his daughter say many thing, but he definently didn't expect that coming from someone like Hungary.

Austria-Hungary: "She said that?" The shock was visible in his voice.

Poland: "Yeah, why? What does it mean?" Poland was clearly confused.

Austria-Hungary just smiled, then let out a sigh.

Austria-Hungary: "Oh, just something between us."

Their conversation quickly got interrupted by the familiar voice of none other than Czechia.

Czechia: "Hey there." As he walked beside them, he was accompanied by Austria, Hungary's brother.

As Austria left with his father, Czechia and Poland walked towards the training room.

Poland: "I wonder if the Agency and Rin's team got the news."

Czechia: "You think they'll come?"

Poland: "I hope so. I hope everyone knows what Hungary did for them." He said as they got to the door. "The least they can do is show up and pay..."

And that's when Poland and Czechia saw it. It wasn't just the Agency and Rin's team, but everyone they knew from every realm they've been to, even more, the entire city was there! The event was something special for everyone, the rite of parting with their beloved wind realm guardian. Vera then grabbed the microphone and stood in front of the headquarters entrance, making a polite bow and clearing her throat. She had an important message to share.

Vera: "We are gathered here, today, to honour the memory of Hungary. Inventor, Girl of the Wind, guardian, master of wind, and our dearest friend. Her courage and strength have saved us time and time again. And although we were unable to save her...we will always remember her. Wherever she is now, she is in our hearts"

The crowd went quiet as Agent V spoke her words, having hit the people in their heart. The mere sounds of sobbing could be heard by how quiet it was. As everyone was taking part in the right of passing, Hungary herself hand business.

Hungary was soaring with the other wind spirits through Aeria without a care in the world.

She was free.
