It was not fine.
Tsuna swallowed down his cries as he avoided another demon's ambush that proceeded to cut down several trees in one strike in an attempt to hit him.
"Oh, why am I always so unlucky?" He lamented while returning a punch right at the demon's face to make a huge gap between them.
Maybe he shouldn't be complaining. After all, he did promised that he would help get rid of demons, but this is the 18th demon he had fought today, starting from when he departed from the village.
"Is this a normal amount of demons encountered during daylight?"
Goodness! Even if it's daylight, there are still demons lurking in the dark shadow of the woods! It was just his luck that he managed to stumble across some of them who were either searching for food or in the middle of eating.
Tsuna sends his condolences to the remains; however, he does not have time to bury them and has to cremate them using his flame. He has to keep going and be quick, lest his journey get more troublesome when night comes.
The demon was about to retaliate, but Tsuna didn't give him a chance and lit his hand on fire. He then crossed his hands and shot a weak stream of Sky flame toward him, who was only a couple of meters away.
It burned him, but the demon was surprised to see that it was warm and didn't hurt even as his body slowly crumbled away like burning papers.
His head swirled with confusion and fear. It's warm, but he's dying. How could death feel warm?
Tsuna perked up in attention at the sight.
Ah, something that Tsuna learned along the way of fighting demons all this time is that his Sky Flame is highly effective in defeating them and that something like Vendicare does not exist in this world.
He knew this without a shadow of a doubt, all because of his intuition. He asked the correct questions and received the answers he needed.
The hyper-intuition really helps, despite all the headaches he has to bear. It truly is a cheat. How could it know all of that? Reborn wasn't exaggerating when he said that it almost feels like it knows everything.
He wondered if, if he grew older, his intuition would grow even stronger too. He's not sure how to feel about that.
Ashes fell and the ember floated to the sky while the demon's final cries of begging to not die were finally silenced.
It was sad, but Tsuna has to be tough. Killing them was the only way to save them. They were not the same humans they used to be.
He sighed. He felt exhausted from using his Sky Flame again. While they do have perks against defeating demons, that would also mean that he would get tired of constantly using them, seeing as he doesn't have the medium to channel his power.
Tsuna fished out the packet that contained the onigiris he bought earlier. He fumbled with the packet while trying to unravel it and tie it back together while balancing the chosen onigiri in one piece.
