Ivoree's POV:

I was on ft with Meena while I sat at the park taking in the good old Texas air. Today was my last day in Texas. I'm moving back to New York I missed my bestie so much. She ofc didn't know I was comin home I wanted to surprise her. I'm all packed up and ready to leave but my flight isn't for another 4 hours 

Meme: "Vee are you even listening to me!"

Vee: "huh? oh mb i'm just thinking.. I miss you a lot yk that"

Meme:"I miss you too u still coming down here for the summer right?"

Vee: "ofc! it's been like 4 years since ive seen u in person"

Meme: "ikr but I gotta go yk how ma dukes gets" she said as she rolled her eyes I laughed 

Vee:"ight bye meme tell mom I said hey"

Meme: "will do love ya bye"

and with that she hung up. I can't wait to see her ahhh.  I decided to walk back home.

I opened the door and realized I was home alone. oh well I went up to my room and played some music while double checking my suitcases to make sure I didn't forget anything. Everything looked good so I texted my mom n asked her if I could go to the mall. Ik its cold in NY and it hot in Texas so I needa pick up some winter gear.

She said yes and told me to be safe she also sent me some money even tho I have my own.

The mall wasn't walking distance so I took my car which i'm gonna have to leave here when I go to NY. The mall was abt 20 mins away so I hurried in the mall and got what I needed and what I wanted. i have a bad shopping addiction. I checked the time and seen I have an hour to get the the airport. "shit time flies hella fast"

I rushed home and packed up my new stuff and loaded the car. I texted my mom that I was on my way to the airport she said ok and told me to grab the box off her bed and dont open it til I get to new york hmmm I ran back in the house grabbed my portable charger and the box along with a snack then dipped. I made it to the airport on time and I was relieved.

AUTHOR NOTES:Ik this is a short chapter but I have to go somewhere in 30 mins and im not ready yet so enjoy chapter one I may publish 2 more chapters later tdy!!
