Haerin's peaceful time at the cafe came to an abrupt halt as Emily rudely closed her laptop. She looked up, her expression a mix of surprise and irritation.
"Emily, what's your problem?" Haerin asked, her voice laced with annoyance.
Emily smirked, enjoying the power she seemed to hold over Haerin. "Oh, you know exactly what my problem is," she said, her voice dripping with malice.
Haerin sighed, trying not to let Emily's actions get to her. "Look, whatever issues you have with me, can we just leave it outside of school?" she said, trying to diffuse the situation.
Emily leaned in, her eyes narrow with contempt. "Oh, but that's the thing, Haerin. I'm not going to let you get away with it," she said, her voice filled with venom.
Haerin frowned, unsure of what Emily was even talking about. "Get away with what?" she asked, genuinely puzzled.
"You and Minji," Emily spat, her words like daggers. "You think you can just waltz around like nothing happened? Well, I'm not going to let you ruin her future."
Haerin's eyes widened in disbelief. "What are you even talking about?" she said, her voice tinged with frustration. "Minji and I have nothing to do with each other's future. We're just two consenting adults in a relationship."
Emily scoffed, clearly not convinced. "Oh please, don't act innocent. You're her teacher, for god's sake. This is so wrong on so many levels," she said, her voice filled with self-righteousness.
Haerin took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "Emily, Minji and I care about each other deeply," she said, her voice steady. "We're not doing anything wrong, and it's none of your business."
Emily's eyes flashed with anger. "It is my business when it affects Minji's future," she said, her voice sharp.
Haerin shook her head, feeling a mix of frustration and sadness. "You don't get to decide what's best for Minji," she said firmly. "She's a capable and intelligent young woman who can make her own decisions."
Emily's face turned red with rage. "You're just using her," she accused, her voice filled with venom.
Haerin's eyes narrowed, her patience wearing thin. "That's not true, and you know it," she said, her voice firm. "Minji and I have a genuine connection, and our feelings for each other are real."
Emily huffed, clearly not willing to back down. "Well, don't think I'm going to let this go," she said, her voice threatening.
Haerin stood her ground, refusing to be intimidated by Emily's threats. "Do what you want, Emily," she said, her voice steady. "But know that Minji and I are not going to let anyone come between us."
With that, Haerin gathered her things and walked away, leaving Emily seething with anger. As she stepped outside, she took a deep breath, trying to shake off the encounter. She knew that she and Minji would face challenges, but their love and commitment to each other

Minji's heart raced as she heard a knock on her door. When she opened it, there stood Emily, her expression determined and angry. Minji took a deep breath, preparing herself for whatever confrontation was about to unfold."What are you doing here, Emily?" Minji asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
"I came to talk some sense into you," Emily replied, her voice laced with frustration. "You can't seriously be with that teacher. It's wrong, Minji."
Minji's jaw tightened, her resolve growing stronger. "Haerin is not just a teacher to me," she said firmly. "She's someone I care about deeply, and I won't let anyone belittle her or our relationship."
