Lower three

Sanemi's pov:

i grabbed an extra pair of clothes and changed before laying down in the twin sized bed, Tomioka was already asleep so i assumed he fell sleep while i was changing. Even though he's so emotionless i cant help but notice how peaceful he looks when he sleeps. I stare off at the wall before slowly dozing off.

later...

i open my eyes to gleams of sunlight shining through the windows, i sit up and stretch before getting up. i look over at Tomioka, he's still asleep.
the orange and pink light from the windows is hitting his face making him looks majestic.
i can feel a small smile creep onto my face.

i head to the bathroom to change into my uniform,
when i finished getting ready i could tell Tomioka just woke up. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, his hair was down it covered his face. " Hurry up and change shitface" he irritates me so much.

all he does is stand up and walks to the bathroom completely ignoring me, making me just want to strangle him to death. he acts like he's so much better than us.

Giyu's pov:
i wake up to the sun shining in my face. i sit up and notice shinazugawa is gone. he walks out of the bathroom and yells at me to hurry up and change.
i walk pass him to do so.

we check out of the hotel and start heading to investigate about this demon. we first ask some civilians about the missing people. apparently kids have been going missing to some "creature" which is a demon but they don't know the existence of demons.

since the demon was killing kids we narrowed down two possible victims that the demon would attack. the village was small so we separated we would each look out for the demon at each of the possible victims estates.

Later...

we start to head to the estates as the sun sets, shinazugawa has gone to a little boys estate his name is haru.
i'm watching over the other possible victim, a little girl named kaede

the estates are at opposite sides of the town so once the demon arrives it will take a second for the other to get to the battle.

the sun sets and its pitch black, in about a hour and half i sense a demon, it was pretty hidden i assume it was a lower rank.
i run towards the girls estate as quick as i can.
a silhouette of a creature walks through the outside of the garden.

the demon notice me and admittedly sent an attack my way, it was a collection of pins. i veer them away with my katana.

as i walk towards the demon i notice a the kanji in its eye  "lower three".

"water breathing: 3rd form, flowing dance"

the demons headless body starts walking around as the head screams as it evaporates.

by the time it evaporates Shinazugawa had arrived.

Sanemi's pov:
As i get to the little girls estate that Tomioka was watching over. i watch as the rest of the demon has evaporated.

Tomioka jerk his katana to get off the blood from demon before putting his blade back in the scabbard.

"why didn't you wait for me to kill the demon" I practically yelled obviously wanting to show off my fighting skills.

"it was only lower 3" Giyu responds in a monotone voice.

He's such a show-off, he obviously thinks he's better than us.
i give him a irritated look but i doubt he notice, he's oblivious as fuck.

my crow flys to tell master that we completely our mission and were heading back.
