Hi....welcome to Marcos, my name is Toni and I'll be your server. Can I start you with anything to drink?

I hear this fine ass girl ask me. I eye her up and down as she speaks and smirk to myself I'mma get her.

" Hey, can I get the grilled chicken cesar salad with a rum and coke and that's just to start sweetie" I say and end it with winking at her

She smiles nodding and walks away. Innocent that's what she reads off but I'm about to change that. I see my next prey...

As my lunch continues on I talk to her and find out I'm her last table for the day then she's off....perfect.

"I can't beat around the bush anymore Toni; you are very beautiful and I love what I see. And I would love to hang out with you more. And since we're both gonna be free after this, why don't we spend sometime together" I say smiling at her hoping my charm works, nah I know my charm worked

"Thank you but I'm gonna have to pass"
"Why?"
"Because I don't know you"
"That's why we need to hang out so we can get to know each other.....what do you say?" I ask smiling at her

And we're at the zoo...of all places. I was thinking of going back to her place but nope she said let's go tot he soon cause she hasn't been in forever. Like girl I don't give a damn....just step out them drawls.

Megan & Tupac (COMPLETE- name of book)

MEGAN POV

Sometimes I find myself slightly looking through the crowd to spot Tupac, but I guess he doesn't see me because he's too busy watching the performance. Smiling, cheering and drinking. His smile oh goes he has the most beautiful teeth I've seen, and his eyes. Dreamy, like if you stare into them too long you'll get lost in them.

Before I know it shots ring out and everyone hits the ground. I look to my left where Aaliyah is seeing fear in her eyes. I've known this girl for 3 years and I refuse to leave her. I grab her hand telling her that I got her. I look to my right and where the fuck is Kenneth....not here.

Aaliyah and I crawl to the other end of the bar towards the exit.

"M-Meg I'm scared" she whispers to me
"Me too....but we're getting out of here" I say back feeling my heart beat out of my chest

I will not die at a party...especially one in California. Fuck no.

As the shots seem to slow down I tell Aaliyah how we're going to run to the door as fast as we can. Earning a nod from her we both count to three and take off running. And right on cue bullets start flying again.

As I push Aaliyah to make it through the door faster I feel someone push me through it too. Then lay over me as I lay on Aaliyah to protect us. The bullets stop again as we hear police sirens.

"Come on y'all get up" I hear as the person helps me stand up
Looking it's Tupac. Standing fully up I wrap my arms around him hugging him for even saving us. As I refuse to let him go, he helps Aaliyah up. As she grabs onto him too in appreciation.

"Come on ladies I gotta get y'all out of here" he says literally carrying the both of us out the venue

"How did y'all get here?"
"I came with Kelly..."
"I came with Kenneth"
"Alright I'm going to drop you both off just tell me where. Let's go"

In his car he plays soft music, with Aaliyah in the back asleep I take that as the time to thank him.

"You don't have to thank me"
"Yes I do. Because no one would've done what you did. You saved us when you could've saved yourself and went home"
"Just like how Kenneth did" he says and I give him a straight face not saying anything

"I'm messing with you. You know I have to especially with him... I don't like him for you" he says laughing
"Then who do you like for me?" I say smirking
"I can't answer that right now"

"Answer what?" Aaliyah ask now that she's up
"Why you snore so loud?! Like damn little mama" he says making us all laugh

"So here you are"
"Yupp this is me...thanks again for the ride and saving us. I really appreciate you!"
"Can we continue to hang out and talk as friends"
"As friends......I can agree to that"
"Cool....so what's your number?" He says smiling licking his lips
