Erasing You

{So this is a song I wrote one night while having a hard time sleeping because i was thinking of "him". It started out by a letter I began to write him. I wasn't planning on giving it to him - it was just a letter of things I was wishing I could have told him while I had the chance. So, I ripped it up. I didn't want anyone to find it so i stuck the torn pieces of paper into my shoe - most people usually question me about that beginning verse of the song so - there you have it.}

Erasing You

Tonight I’ll write a letter, rip it up

Then stick it in my shoe 

I’ll throw it out first thing tomorrow

Then do everything else that concerns erasing you

Oh, I pick the petals off a rose

That clearly was a wannabe

Resembling our so called beauty

How you plucked it off and set it free 

Spreading the ashes of a love that once completed me

I’ll paint a picture of the cloud

That since you vanished has been over me

Or an ocean without a shore

Well, seems as I’m erasing you
