Lilac walked into the small library her parents owned. In the past, Lilac would have called it big, but Hogwarts existed.
The library at home was small in her opinion, yet the bookshelves reached to the ceiling and a few stacks of books which didn't fit anymore littered on the ground. It was dark safe for the few lamps laying around.
She looked around at the books and eventually found a fiction book to distract her mind.As she walked out, she noticed a light source which definitely wasn't from a lamp.
On instinct she grabbed her wand, expecting the worst.
The light source came from behind a fat bookcase, she looked trough it and to her relief she recognised the person who bended over the map.Lilac sighed and out her wand back in her pocket. She stepped out from behind the bookcase and stepped next to Tom.
"Hey," she said as she looked at the small desk. Multiple maps lay around and Tom seemed to look for a certain place. Lilac found books with pictures of places and numerous locations, "What's up?""The bloody ceiling." Tom huffed, "I'm trying to find the next horcrux. I just got this half memory thing... the one that's not mine but from another part of the soul, but I've managed to link it trough an actual memory..."
Lilac smiled, they were finally finding another horcrux. Though instead of voicing her excitement, something else came to mind, "Sounds like we're in a dark vampire story with that sentence."
"Take this serious please." Tom didn't look up as he looked at the map.
His look darkened as his eyes found a picture on it, showing a small town."Alright, so where do we go?" Lilac asked as she turned to the map as well.
Tom held up his hand and slowly pointed it at a certain place. "I hate myself for placing it there."
"Why?" Lilac asked, "It can't be that bad."
"Just prepare to make a trip." Tom sighed, "We both can't aparate."
"Remus can." Lilac remembered after some hesitation, "But we might as well just use flow powder, right?"
"It's not near a fireplace." Tom shook his head. "Go write Lupin, will you?"
Lilac stuck out her tongue at his rude tone and turned to leave.
Once Remus had returned a letter, Lilac was talking to her father.
"Bloody owl!" Her father snatched it from the air. "Lilac! Why is an owl flying trough my house!?""To deliver mail." Lilac sighed at his temper, "It's a wizard thing."
"Can't you use a bloody post man, jeesh." Father let go of the owl and put it down on the table.
It landed roughly and ruffled its feathers, not appreciating the arrival.Lilac went to the owl and grabbed the letter. As a sorry she gave it a little owl snack.
Fortunately, Remus was going with them. The time and day came and Lilac left her house. She reached the end of the street as Remus had instructed in the letter.
She didn't have to wait long before Remus appeared."Grab my arm." Remus held out his right arm. Lilac did so, rather confused. She hadn't used this method of transportation before, so you can imagine her hesitation.
Suddenly the world spun around her, before she landed on her two feet, in the middle of nowhere.
Remus looked around, "We're here...I think?" He didn't seem sure of his words. The two stood on a rock, surrounded by water. A cliffside towered above them.
Lilac shrugged and walked around before she found a way to step into a cave. "In here I'd suppose." She grabbed her wand and walked inside, not caring to wait for Remus.
