An insanely loud alarm that sounded like the world was ending went off. An annoyed woman that just woke up hurriedly turned off the alarm. Y/n was a big heavy sleeper and needed an alarm that could possibly wake up her whole neighborhood to get her up.

She got up, dragging her feet on the wooden floor and went out of her room to take a cold shower. A Golden Retriever was soon following her around, wagging his tail. His name's Falco. Y/n got him as a gift from her family, years ago.

"Give me a second, Falco." Y/n groggily said with her eyes barely open.

She was soon brushing her teeth. Sitting on the toilet for 10 minutes straight, staring at the wall, deciding that she'll take a shower once she gets back home from work.

Y/n got out of the bathroom and went to the kitchen. She fed Falco and grabbed a piece of bread for her own breakfast, since she was too lazy to make anything decent. She fixed her hair and wore a beige crewneck, paired with some black jeans that were a bit loose. Finishing it off with converse for her shoes. She knows it's the most basic outfit ever but who cares, it's not like she was working at a 5 star job. She grabbed her apron and stuffed it in her bag. Flooding her dog with kisses before leaving her apartment and heading to work.

-

It was a windy and warm afternoon while Y/n was on her break, scrolling through anything she could find on her phone. She was technically a co-owner of the cafe she was currently in, as well as a great barista. The cafe was suprisingly busy, considering it isn't as famous in town.

"Why is everything in the internet so boring now?" Y/n asked herself as she stood up proceeding to get back to work. She walked out of the employees room and stared at everyone for a split second before hearing a familiar voice call out for her.

"Y/n! Just because you're some sort of co-owner now, it doesn't mean you can sit your lazy ass all day!" The familiar voice exclaimed. Y/n lazily walked towards the stressed but is somehow still keeping a beaming smile girl.

"My God, I'm here Lisa." Y/n annoyingly stated beside her.

"Finally, now go on and help us. The cafe suddenly got popular for some reason, no one knows!" Lisa said, the girl has been Y/n's long running best friend. They met back in high school when Lisa accidentally ripped the back of Y/n's shirt. She tripped and held onto Y/n's back collar and fell with it, continuously ripping it all the way down, and the rest was history.

Y/n just gave Lisa an exaggerated pat on the back and walked over to take someone's order. She smiled at the customer.

"Good afternoon! May I take your order?" The barista asked in a joyful tone.

"Hi! Yes, I would like a-"

A sudden loud noise of a mug shattering was heard throughout the whole cafe followed by a woman cursing someone out.

Y/n smiled apologetically at the customer that was abruptly cut off by the noise as she rounded the long counter to check out what the ruckus was all about.

She arrived at the scene and saw that Lisa was already there, looking frightened. The sight was an angry woman fuming at a male that was holding a recently emptied mug. Lisa was freaking out, not knowing what to do causing Y/n to go up to her and see the sight closer for herself.

The angry woman had a huge coffee stain on her white dress shirt. While the man looked like he was holding in a laugh.

Y/n softly pushed Lisa behind her and asked the raging woman to calm down.

"Ma'am calm down, you're disturbing the entire caf-"

"Calm down!? Are you blind!? This guy just purposely spilled coffee on my new top, and you want me to calm down!?" She shouted, as she frantically tried to wipe the stain away with tissues.
