Y/n was leaning on the counter of her cafe, her chin planted on her hands. It was the 14th of April, Saturday, the day after all the mess happened. Her co-workers were conversing somewhere in the cafe while she stared at the windows, waiting for a customer. It was oddly packed yesterday, but now there's barely anyone coming in.
Lisa took the day off, leading Y/n to insane boredom with no one to talk to. All she could hear were the murmurs of distant customers talking.
After a few minutes the barista decided to pull out her phone and call Lisa. The phone ringed 2 times before she picked up.
"Hold on Y/n, I'm literally about to win this match." Lisa said as soon as she picked up, earning an eyeroll from Y/n.
"I thought you were 'sick', missy?" Y/n said, emphasizing the word 'sick'.
"Oh, come on! I am sick!" She exclaimed, desperately trying to fake cough.
"You should get some 'How to fake cough' tutoring lessons." She laughed out.
"Oh, fuck off Y/n! I can barely hear any customers there! I deserve a break."
"Mm, sure... you deserve a break..." Y/n whispered, earning a 'Huh' from the girl on the other line.
"What'd you say?" Lisa asked in a higher tone of voice due to irritation.
Y/n screamed into the phone, causing Lisa to emit a loud scream as well.
"WHAT THE FUCK, Y/N!?" The girl said, making the barista burst out laughing.
"I DIED! I WAS ABOUT TO WIN!"
"Sucks to be you, I guess." Y/n said, still laughing as she hung up on the enraged girl.
She shook her head from amusement, stuffing the phone in her pocket. Thank God, there was barely anyone in the cafe to hear the extremely loud scream she just did.

A distinct blonde woman opened up her car door and slipped outside, now facing a familiar cafe she was recently in. While she was fixing her white dress shirt that was now coffee stain free, Roseanne heard an extremely loud scream, followed by laughter. The blonde snapped her head to the windows of the cafe and saw that there was barely anyone in it. After a few minutes, she approached the cafe doors and pushed them, earning a chime from the small bells on top of the doors.
Y/n heard the chimes and hurriedly fixed her hair and her white t-shirt. The barista never wore something crazy at work since she saw the cafe as her second home. She then quickly flashed up a smile for the incoming customer.
Only to be greeted by the blonde woman she found extremely beautiful.
"Well, it's great seeing you here again. I must say, I didn't expect you to actually come back here after everything that happened yesterday." Y/n said with a slick smile.
"Shut up and give me a Latte." Roseanne dismissively stated.
"Alright, alright. Dang..." The barista punched the order in the cash register.
"2$."
The blonde slid 2$ and quietly sat on one of the bar stools in front of the long counter as Y/n went back and made the Latte with a grin on her face. She was pleased to see the woman again.
Roseanne was scrolling through her phone until she saw the familiar barista walking towards her with a mug of coffee. She slipped her phone inside her pockets and looked up to see Y/n with an annoying grin on her face.
"Here's your amazing Latte, Ms. Roseanne, made with pure affection and care." She jokingly laughed out, sliding the mug towards Roseanne.
The blonde held back an eyeroll, tugging a small smile on her lips as she took the mug, taking a sip. She then looked around, absorbing her surroundings but her eyes still landed on the barista in front of her.
