The birds chirpings and the hustling bustling in the streets indicated that it has dawned. The house resembled so divine with the morning Suprabhatham been played and the house was filled with the aroma of the incense sticks which gave a blissful feel altogether.

The head of the house Krishnan was reading the newspaper by sitting in the portico. Malathy his wife, handed over him the coffee which was a signature beverage of Malathy.

'Ennanga...neenga ava kitta pesuningala? Malathy asked him.

'Yaaru kitta?' Krishnan asked while relishing his coffee.

'Yaaru kittanu ungalukku theriyatha?' Malathy asked him annoyingly.

'Yaaru kitta di pesanum? Theliva sonnathaane enakku theriyum' Krishnan responded in the same tone.

'Vera yaaru kitta unga seemantha puthiri kitta thaan' Malathy said with annoyance.

'Inga paaru Malathy..Namba ponnu onnum chinna ponnu illa. Avalukku ellam theriyum. Ella vishyathukum naama interfere aaga koodathu. Ava paathupa. Nee theva illama kavala padatha' Krishnan to her in the convincing tone.

'appavum ponnum pesi samalikarthula salachavanga illa' Malathy smiled a little and went inside to continue her kitchen work.

Malathy prepared coffee and went to the room that was in upstairs.

The entire room was fully dark as the curtains was closed and the AC was running. The petite figure was sleeping without knowing the chaos that happened in the downstairs.

'Hey Manasa..time achu paaru..School pora idea irukka illiya?' Malathy woke her one and only daughter who was sleeping under the duvet. Malathy switched off the AC and opened the curtains.

Manasa slowly peeped from her duvet and saw her mother with a blinking eye.

'Aiyo amma... ponum ma...' she sat straight on the bed. 'Seri...intha coffee kudichitu ready aagu' Malathy gave the coffee.

'Seri...innikiavathu ellam seri ayiduma illiya?' Malathy asked her for which she showed her hands upwards saying 'ellam kadavul setting mummy' Manasa said with her usual antics.

'ennavo.. nee aachu avarachu..enna ponno..' Malathy left from there to continue her kitchen work.

Manasa got ready in cream colour organza saree that had a pink flower printed all over the saree matching with matching blouse that had a small pink frill been designed in the edge of the sleeves. She pony tailed her hair. She wore a matching pink stone drop earrings. She kohled her eyes and finally kept a small bindi. Her wore a bracelet on her right hand a wrist watch on her left hand. She came down slowly and her face glowed naturally.

She came down to the dining to have her breakfast. Krishnan was already waiting for her to join for breakfast.

'Good morning, Pa' She wished him. 'Good morning ma...' He greeted back.

'Enna ma...inniki lateah ezhunthiya?' Krishnan asked her.

'Aama pa..night thoonga late ayiduchu' She said to him with a smile.

'Seri ma...romba neram inime kannu muzhichi irukaathe' Krishnan advised her. 'Hmm...seri pa' she said smiling to him.

By the time, Malathy came with the breakfast and served to both of them. After that she left to school. Krishnan informed his driver to drop Manasa at school.
