Instead of water, hundreds of shimmering bubbles of vibrant green color blubbered out of the sink, filling the room with a delightful minty scent that tickled your nose. Your eyes widened in surprise, reflecting the dancing light caught within each bubble. "Wow!" You gasped, the sheer enchantment evident in your voice.
Sebastian quickly turned off the sink, a few bubbles still lingering on his face as he wiped them away, his playful giggle filling the air. With a mischievous glint in your eyes, you swam after him, your curiosity piqued. "I think these sink heads make bubbles, I bet they all have different colors and scents," you exclaimed, your voice filled with excitement.
Sebastian couldn't resist teasing you once again, mocking your discovery. "I also figured out that much, genius," he playfully remarked, causing a wave of laughter to erupt between the two of you. As you continued exploring, your gaze landed on another sink head adorned with glistening red rubies.
"I wonder what this one smells like," you pondered aloud, your voice filled with anticipation, as you turned the faucet on, accidentally applying a bit too much force. Suddenly, a hundred more bubbles splurted out, this time they were red. A few of the bubbles playfully splash against your faces and cover you both in a moment of surprise. With a yelp, you quickly closed the faucet, your laughter echoing in the bubble-filled room.
As the room filled with the delightful aroma of fresh strawberries, you inhaled deeply, savoring the sweet scent that enveloped you. "I could almost eat those bubbles, they smell so irresistibly good," you joked, a playful glimmer in your eyes as you cleaned the remnants of bubbles from your face. Your attention shifted to Sebastian, who was still rubbing his eye.
Concern filled your voice as you giggled, "Are you alright?" His nod confirmed that he was fine, though annoyance played on his features as he continued to rub his slightly red eye. His fluttering lashes and attempts to open his eye showed his discomfort as soap remained. Your smile widened, finding him utterly adorable, resembling a puppy at that moment. "Let me help you," you offered, seizing his arm gently to stop his efforts.
You cupped his face, holding him still with tender care, as your thumb moved in soothing strokes over his closed eyelid. A few seconds passed, and finally, he opened his eyes, relief washing over his expression as he realized the itching had ceased. In that moment, his gaze met yours, the intensity of his stare captivating you.
Becoming aware of your touch on his face, you quickly let go, your sheepish smile mirroring his own. The brief silence lingered before he spoke again, his voice filled with anticipation. "So..." he began, his eyes sparkling, his gaze momentarily darting towards your lips. Unable to resist, you found your own gaze drawn to his lips as well, the air charged with a magnetic tension.
You eagerly awaited his next words, but his expression suddenly shifted, as if he had changed his mind. His eyes returned to meet yours, and he added with a chuckle, "Wanna try out some more sinks? This time we'll have to be more careful. I don't want any more soap in my poor eyes, or you'll end up having two blind friends." You couldn't hold back your laughter, a wave of warmth filling your heart. "Poor Ominis," you thought, chuckling softly.
"I wonder if Ominis noticed that you left the dormitory," you said aloud, your voice carrying a hint of curiosity. Sebastian nodded knowingly, a mischievous glimmer in his eyes. "I'm sure he knows that I've been sneaking out to meet my princess at midnight," he confessed, his words causing that familiar flutter in your gut. You chuckled, trying to dismiss the feeling that gradually faded away, allowing the playful atmosphere to take hold once more.
