(Y/n) bounded along the streets, a spring in her step, with Kenta happily trotting beside her. The weight of the crutches that had confined her movements for weeks was finally lifted, and she relished the newfound freedom. With her phone in hand, she checked the address one last time, ensuring she was on the right path toward the café that Kunimi had recommended.

"I think it's this way, Kenta! Let's go!" (Y/n) exclaimed with a twinkle in her eyes as she confidently made a right turn.

Having remembered that she still had Kunimi's jacket in her possession, (y/n) had reached out to Kindaichi, requesting Kunimi's contact details. Kindaichi initially hesitated, unsure of the intentions behind (y/n)'s request. However, after (y/n) explained that she simply wanted to return the jacket, he reluctantly agreed, assuming it would be a quick exchange. Little did he know that Kunimi had more than a mere jacket return in mind.

Kunimi, seizing the opportunity to spend more time with (y/n), proposed meeting up at a quaint café with a beautiful garden, knowing that it would also provide a pleasant setting for Kenta. The thought of enjoying each other's company amidst the serene ambiance of the garden surely added to his appeal.

Unbeknownst to Kindaichi, Kunimi saw this as a chance to connect with (y/n) on a deeper level. He hoped that this casual encounter would pave the way for genuine conversation and the possibility of getting to know her better. The jacket had become a mere pretext for their meeting.

"There it is!" (Y/n) exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she pointed towards the café. The charming establishment stood before them, exuding an inviting aura that beckoned them inside.

Kunimi, standing beside her, observed (y/n) with a hint of amusement in his eyes. His usual deadpan expression softened as he watched her interact with Kenta.

"Why are you talking to your dog?" he teasingly remarked, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Rolling her eyes playfully, (y/n) chuckled, "Oh, come on, Kunimi. Every dog owner talks to their furry companions, don't they?" The lightheartedness in her voice revealed her genuine affection for her four-legged friend.

As they approached the café, Kunimi's gaze wandered, taking in the cozy atmosphere and the delightful garden that lay beyond. (Y/n) couldn't help but notice his contemplative expression.

"Did you wait long?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"No, I just arrived," Kunimi replied smoothly, though in reality, he had intentionally arrived early, eager to spend more time with (y/n) before their planned meeting.

Rummaging through her bag, (y/n) retrieved his jacket, her smile soft and sincere. "I already washed it," she informed him, a touch of gratitude in her voice. "Thanks again for letting me borrow it!"

Kunimi simply nodded, accepting the returned jacket and placing it carefully in his sports bag. He couldn't help but recall the circumstances that led to (y/n) borrowing his jacket, a faint blush threatening to grace his cheeks. He quickly brushed off the thought, refocusing his attention on their current situation.

"You can enter the garden through that little gate," he pointed towards a quaint wooden gate nestled beside the café building. "I don't think they allow dogs inside."

"Alright, let's go!" (Y/n) exclaimed, her excitement palpable as she gently tugged Kenta along. The cheerful wagging of his tail mirrored their shared anticipation.

As they made their way through the gate, the garden unfolded before them like a secret oasis. Lush greenery embraced colorful blooms, casting a vibrant backdrop for their meeting. The sweet scent of flowers wafted through the air, mingling with the soft murmur of conversation from other patrons enjoying the outdoor seating. The gentle gurgle of the nearby fountain added a soothing touch to the ambiance.
