A new beginning

It was 11 a.m. and you just woke up.

I woke up to banging and the house vibrating from the thuds of boxes being taken to the moving truck. Today is the day I have to leave everything...my friends, my home, my school, everything that was normal to me was being taken away from me. Mom got a job offer that paid really well but in order to get it, they said we would have to move, I wasn't mad at her though because I knew she was doing it since we weren't very stable financially and this job offer paid really good, she always makes sure I have everything I need and I feel bad sometimes when we don't have enough money. But that's all gonna change, I haven't gotten to see the house yet but I got excited when mom said it was big and very beautiful, she explained it in a very elegant way as if it was a huge mansion or something.

"Y/N, do you have you boxes ready for the truck?" My mom yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah do you want me to bring them down there now?" I yelled back.

My mom cracks my door and peeks her head through

"Yes also get dressed when your done, we have to be outta here by 12:30 so I'll help you carry some boxes down." She smiles walking in to start getting boxes.

"Ok thanks mom." I smiled back picking boxes up too.

We walk downstairs with my boxes and take them out to the moving truck

"Ok I'm gonna go get Dani and get her bags and pack them into the trunk."

"Alright I'm gonna go get changed and I'll do the same."

I ran to my room and grabbed a really loose fitting t-shirt and a pair of comfy shorts. It was now 11:45 so I decided to take a quick body shower so I tied up my hair and and grabbed a towel from my suitcase and went into the bathroom. I didn't pack any of my shower things up yet so it was nice that I didn't have to carry anything else. I put my towel on the sink and I turned the shower on a warm temperate, I got undressed and hopped in the shower, I stood under the water just enough for it to miss my hair, after a few minutes I grabbed my soap in my favorite scent and put it on my loofa and started scrubbing my skin. Once all the soap was rinsed off I turned the shower off and got out to wrap my towel around my body. I ran back to my room and got dressed, once I was done I went to the bathroom and grabbed all of my shower things and packed them up in my suitcase. I grabbed my bag and took them downstairs, I grabbed my converse and put them on and tied them up, it takes too long to put converse on. I finished tying my shoes and grabbed my backpack and suitcase and walked to the car and put them in the trunk. I checked my phone and it said 12:20. 'Damn, time went by fast as hell.' I thought to myself. My mom came out with Dani and put her things in the trunk.

"Alright girls, are you ready for a new beginning?"

"Yeah!" Dani said excited.

"No but I'll get over it." I sighed.

"Ok then let's goooooo!" My mom dragged.
