(or anywhere in the story, I see all the comments, don't worry)

I'm just going to quickly rehash the important events in the story so far that you need to know for the later chapters. (only the events that were made obvious to the reader)
I'm also going to explain the cast and their roles in the kingdom of Bakumori.

CH. 1- Shoto wakes up, and is greeted by his best friend, Ether. They've known each other for quite a while. Shoto's parents are gone for a bit that day, so he decides to indulge in baking. He's loved baking for quite a while since he started learning with Ether.

He fell in love with baking when he started, and he and Ether then promised to open a dream bakery. He then bakes strawberry tarts in the kitchen and then remembers the king's event he had to get to, the ball at the royal palace.

Ch. 2- Cat-like man appears, (Alban) his reference is Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. Shoto reminisces about friends as he gives Alban a tart. He talks about how he'll get his tarts to the ball, and Alban is disappointed that they're for the king. (signaling that he's baked for the king many times, but only for the motive of promoting his goods)

His parents finally arrive home, so he goes to the door to greet them.

Ch. 3- He answers the door to his mom in an elegant outfit. (sheeeeesh) Shoto gets ready for the ball with the help of Ether. The outfit his mom chose for the ball was an extravagant, bright red outfit. Along with that, she had him wear a tight corset.

Ch. 4- His family is going to the ball in a black and white carriage. (symbolizing the black and white ball.) The person welcoming the guests was named Pomu Rainpuff, who seems to dislike Shoto's mom for whatever reason, even though Shoto hasn't talked to Pomu.

Pomu tells Shoto he sticks out, and they have a conversation. He looks into the audience and is shocked.

Ch. 5- Shoto is worried when he sees everyone in the ballroom in black and white, as his mom notices Shoto is nervous. He realizes she did this on purpose: dressing him in red at a black-and-white ball.

He talks to Uki and Ike to accompany himself. Ike talks about the new court jester and fulgur, (sir Ovid) while Ike mentions Luca. Trumpet sounds were heard, as the king stepped out of the indoor balcony.

Ch. 6- The king steps out, he also has something on that doesn't stick to the black-and-white theme, but that is on purpose. (king privileges ig)

The king is then revealed as Mysta Rias himself!! (not Vox, he's the later show~) As he stands alone awkwardly, the king himself decides to approach Shoto.

Ch. 7-  Foxslayer moments go by! They exchange introductions, and Mysta pulls him to the dance floor.

Suddenly, the lights go off, and the music dies out. A voice calls out from the darkness, coming from the ceiling. A lighter lights some of the candles, and a man is swinging from the hoop. (ft. cool vox intro)
