It's been a week and ever since their impromptu sleepover, Inaja and Isaiah have been on eachother like white on rice. FaceTiming just to talk about anything, texting their whole day to eachother, she'd honestly never gotten close with a guy this fast. Not even Gio.
Inaja parks the car and texts Isaiah to let him know she's there. She walks into the building and sees Gio talking to him in the lobby.
She walks up to him in her light purple scrubs and goes "What I tell you about forgetting your inhaler?" Inaja holds out his inhaler with a slightly annoyed expression on her face.
"You know I don't even get attacks no more, I don't need that ina." She stares at him, pissed, and he reluctantly takes the inhaler.
As Isaiah laughs the receptionist says "Uh, Mr. Carter? You have a call." Gio walks up to the desk and Isaiah can't help but stare at her.
"Let me guess; I look cute?"
Isaiah's chuckles and says "Mhm. You be acting like you don't know." He watches a smile grow on her face, immediately lighting up the room.
He notices a fresh bruise on not just her neck but her wrists and forearms aswell and it was safe to say cats didn't make those marks.
He taps her bruise as his brows furrows and says "What's this?"
Inaja looks at the bruise and quickly states "I told you, the animals get rough so.."
"This ain't from no animal though. You got something going on? Cause if you do-"
Inaja cuts him off with "I don't, dang zay let it go." She checks are watch and leaves as she says "My break's almost over, I'll call you when I'm off."
He watches her walk out the door now agitated, and Gio comes back saying "You'll never guess who that was."
Isaiah walks back to the studio as he says "What you know bout Malik?" Gio follows him as he shrugs then says "He cool. Ion know him like that to be honest, me and ina don't hang out as much as we used to since they started dating."
Isaiah thinks about the bruises on her arm and was sure they came from somebody, He ran the streets for years, so he knew his bruises. Then hearing how Malik talks to her? He wouldn't be surprised if it was him.
"Keep an eye on him. I'm tryna see sum."
