rumors

It's been a couple of years since violet went missing I was upset well I still am it's just all the rumors around school and the town that's got to me just imagine being called "the girl who got her sister killed" or "the witch".

"alright maddy it's time" I say to myself I sigh it's my soccer game today and I haven't been focas u don't wanna lose like at all it's to much pressure but I'm not gonna let kid stop me from winning.

"maddy masons here" my brother says his parents drives me to all my soccer games because it usually takes my family forever to get ready but games aren't the same anymore atleast not without vivi. I walk down and head out the door and get into the car."ready champ" mason says "not really" I say he looks at me concerned "hey don't worry about those kids some people are crazy they don't even know your story and I'm just surprised miguel joined them" he say I laugh "don't worry I'll win" I say determined "I really hope so" he says.

Once we arrive I head into the school I have to get with coach and the team the only one who doesn't down talk me is becca she doesn't know my situation but she trys to cheer me up sometimes.

I walk in the room and all the eyes are on me."maddy your late" coach says i try to avoid these situations but I always wind up in them "sorry" I whisper but in a tone where she can hear me "well you know your part so just warm up" she says rudely even she believes all the rumors which is weird she always says being kind is the only right way.

I walk into the back room and becca follows "hey don't worry about anyone today plus your biggest fan is here he says he doesn't like you but comes to all of your games" she laughs it is all true though he swears he hates me but always watches my games I just hope he doesn't say anything this time I haven't told my parents about the rumors yet and they would be mad if they find out.

one hour later the game starts we all get into position but i turn ad see my parents they wave and I smile then the whistle blows and I start off with the ball i then pass it to becca and I run closer then she passes it back then I score.

Now the points are equal we just need one more point then we win I get the ball but then someone steals it from me it's miguel's cousin but she wasn't winning I've practiced for this and I'm not failing now I run and shove her but only a little then I take the ball and I don't pass it to anyone like coach said but I score and that was it our team won.

My team starts to head back to the school but I was the last while walking I meet up with miguel."hey freak" he says I don't say anything I just walk pass him"stop trying to kill my cousin like you killed your sister" he said it loud now people think I got her killed but they didn't say I physically killed her but we were by kids and everyone gasped I didn't know what to say I just started crying and ran to the school.

After I made it in I headed into the locker room and changed I then packed my bag and got ready to head home but becca walks in "hey I saw what happened with miguel" she says I wipe my tears "yeah it's okay" I say in a low tone she frowns "no it's not okay if he keeps doing this it'll get worse" she says then the girls and coach come in "maddy why didn't you pass the ball" coach yells "well I had it" I say all the girls start to look at me "yeah we won but your lucky because next game your benched" she says then all the girls start to laughter I grab my bag and leave.

I get into my car and lay my head on the window. "you did amazing maddy" my mom says I smile "thanks mom" I say most of the ride home she blasted her favorite songs but it was okay because she was happy unlike other days.

I arrive home and go straight upstairs to my room I then take a shower and put on my pjs I was gonna go to sleep becim tired but first I gotta check my socials but there's a suggested page I click on it and the name was 'the sister killer" and there's nothing but photos of me from the past week one of the captions were 'who else will she get killed' and there was 'are her other siblings safe' and there was a video and photo from today the vid was miguel talking to me and an photo with me looking around with the caption 'did she really kill violet' I hate these rumors.
