Anubhav's POV

The situation in front of me made my eyes bulge out and my legs go weak. My wife was laying lifeless on the hospital bed with many medical equipments attached. I literally blanked out for a second...didn't she just call me a few hours back that she is fine and will be reaching at the decided destination soon and I should be there too. Why the f..why is she here. Dev, my younger brother put his hand on my shoulder bringing me back from my thoughts

'Kya hai yeh' I almost whispered

'Bhaii vahan hai voh officers...jinhone ghar par call karke bataya' pointing at two officers standing at some distance

After talking to them I got to know that they were coming to Lucknow due to some official work and on the way they saw her car which was actually burning. There were two more men inside the car, they rescued the three and made them admitted to the nearest hospital. I thanked them and they both left. Honestly speaking at the moment I am not concerned about the other two...no its not that I don't care I sincerely hope them to be well super soon but my priority is my Haseena.

It was getting difficult for me to keep myself calm with each passing second when the only news I had was that no treatment was working on her. My strong girl wasn't responding to anything. I forcefully sent Maa and Ishika, Dev's wife home...she can't be here for a long time she has two kids with her and one of them is just a year old. Only I and Dev were here. He gave the news to Sid and Avi and from Sid the news reached Vikram. All three are coming here. I definitely don't want to stress them but I think it is the responsibility of family members to tell your closest about such distress if not everytime atleast they should know when things come to life and death. These three are not less than my family. I and Vikram bonded with Sid very well and Avi and Vikram with Haseena. Finally after two hours of waiting the doctors arrived.

'Theek hai na voh abhi' my lips trembled...my heart was pacing at its highest rate ever

'Filhaal toh haan and we have dressed her external injury but she has major internal bleeding...she is still not responding either she will slip into coma or we won't be able to...' the doctor said shocking me...how could he even say that

'Arre bahut strong hai voh aise kaise respond nhi kar rahi aap...aap try kijiye na...kuch hona nhi chahiye unhe aur kuch nhi hoga dekhna kuch samay mei hosh bhi aa jayega unhe and she'll be all good' I tried to keep myself calm

'We are trying are level best and either Dr. Ashish or Dr. Dev aa rahe hai unki surgery ko lead karne ke liye you just pray for the best' one of them said and they left

'Dev' I said and looked at him controlling my tears

'Bhaii chinta mat kijiye...bhabhi theek ho jayengi bilkul...kuch nhi hoga unhe aur Dr. Ashish Lucknow ke best doctor hai dost hai mere kuch nhi hone denge voh bhabhi ko...mai...mai call karke puchhta hun unse' he hugged me and said trying to calm me

'Tum..tum toh ho na doctor...surgeon ho na...aise..aise accident cases bhi dekhte ho...pls bacha lo unko...hona nhi chahiye unhe kuch pls' I pleaded folding my hands in front of him forgetting about the fact that it is unethical to operate family members in such situations unless and until no other doctor is present. My breakdown wasn't very far.

'Arre bhai kya kar rahe hai aap' he said holding my hands

'Kuch nhi hoga unhe mai..mai baat karta hun Dr. Anuraag se aate hi honge voh' he continued and the very next minute Dr. Anuraag was there. He looked mature, confident, knowledgeable and definitely very experienced. Dev shook hands with him
