It was about two weeks into senior year. I had just posted on Instagram one of the pictures I took yesterday after school
Then I hear my mom call me "IMANI LETS GO YOUR LATE FOR SCHOOL IF I HAVE TO CALL YOU AGAIN ITS YO ASS"
I jump up grab my bag and start getting downstairs so I couldn't wait at the bus stop for about 15 minutes for that lazy ass bus driver to come
" I don't even know why she saying I'm late even know that was driving. Don't come in till the crack ass of dawn" I mumble under my breath
I give my mom a hug as she kisses me on my forehead, and I start walking out the door
On the bus
See I don't told y'all this bus driver don't come until 15 minutes today it was a little longer than that, but you get the point
I start walking onto the steps of the bus looking around. I see my brother and I ran to go sit next to him but then this silly ass bitch go hop in my spot
" sorry he's taken" some girl says
" if you don't move your little silly ass..." I say while laughing, she must not know
" it's not my fault that you wantmy man"
meanwhile, my brother is just sitting there, staring at me
" are you going to tell her or am I" I look at him still laughing
" go for it" my brother says starting to laugh
" bitch that's my brother..." I say busting out laughing
She looks at me with an apologetic face. I know that bitch is feeling embarrassed because now everybody laughing at her
I start walking to the middle section of the bus and I see din me and din been friends for a while now people like to call him "agent" Sometimes I call him agent, but most the time it's dd
I sit next to him and smile "hey mani" he says smiling
Me and him start having a conversation. I never realized how cute he was after I think that I start smiling
Just listening to him talk makes me happy
He makes me happy
The bus comes to a stop and we all start getting off the bus, pushing and shoving others on the way
That's how most bus fights happen, they be corny as hell
Me and din walk to class together, keeping up with the conversation we had on the bus
I reach my homeroom I hug him and say "wanna skip 3rd period because I'm not tryina to hear Miss Murphy"
"Bet meet at the water fountain near the gym" he says cheesing a bit
Time skip to 3rd period
I scroll on my phone while walking over to the water fountain I see agent and wave I run over to him and he hugs me
I hug him back with a slight smirk on my face me a him start walking around the school then suddenly I take his hand and say "let's got to 102 nobody uses that classroom anyways"
He agrees, and we start running over there once we reach the classroom. Surprisingly, the door wasn't locked.
We open the door, and I sit on the desk as he grabs a chair and sits
We start having a conversation again, but then suddenly the bell rings, and we see a bunch of students running in the halls
We both give each other a look because we both know we're not stepping out of this classroom
We continue our conversation like normal people do right?
Then I start to notice how cute he was again I start looking at his lips accidentally and he catches me. I'm assuming because he started to smile
"Hey Imani you doing anything after school"
He asked me I started to get excited and replied with "nuh uh"

"Well you do now come over to my house"
Without hesitation I nod my head we continue our conversation in the bell rings. I check the time and its suddenly 3:00 we both start laughing and run out the classroom to catch our bus
while I'm on the bus ride miss girl that I was arguing with earlier kept on staring at me because I was sitting next to MY brother
"Hello?" I say popping out my neck
" don't start with me..." she says rolling her eyes
" girl you was the one staring at me you want to have problems so bad..." I say laughing
I can hear her mumble some thing under her breath, but I don't have the time or energy to be dealing with her bullshit
I put my AirPods back in and listen to music for the rest of the bus ride
