Why am I feeling like something is missing....... Why does it hurt........

Nezuko thought to herself as she was picking the vegetables and some of the strawberries, she had planted on the mountains.

"Oh looks like, it's about to get dark. I should hurry to house and cook dinner. Onii-chan has been working all day, I bet he's hungry. "

At the house.....
"Onii-chan I'm back! "
"Oh Welcome back Nezuko! "
Just as he spoke, his stomach started to growl and Nezuko got up.

"Where are you going, Nezuko? "

"I'm going to go make some food for you. You're hungry right? "

"You don't have to! " Tanjiro quickly got up walking to the kitchen.

Nezuko quickly grabbed Tanjiro's shoulder, "Onii-chan you've been working all day! I bet you're tired. Go lay down, I will make some food for you. "

"But what about you? Aren't you hungry? " asked a concerned Tanjiro as she hadn't eaten in two days.

"No I'm fine. I am not that hungry. "

Tanjiro knew something was bothering her even if she said she was fine. But he didn't ask her as she looked happy, but then again he could smell a scent of sadness coming off of her.

"If something is bothering you, you can talk to me you know " assured Tanjiro.

"I know....... now go lay down, I will bring you your food when I'm done. "

"Ok". Tanjiro sat down on his futon thinking about what was bothering Nezuko. He knows she won't talk to him about it because she's stubborn when it comes to things like these.

A week later.....

Nezuko woke up to a sunny afternoon.

'Oh looks like I slept in' thought Nezuko as she turns to the door opening.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry! " said Tanjiro as he opened the door.

"Oh no! I just woke up a few minutes ago. " smiled Nezuko, "Did you need something? "

"No, I just wanted to check on you. How are you feeling today? "

"Better than yesterday and the day before"

"That's good to hear! I'll make you some soup but it's gonna take me awhile.... "

"Why is that? " Nezuko asked confused.

"Well, we ran out of the ingredients, so I am going to the village to get some more. "

"Oh ok! " Nezuko said as she sat there expressionless.

"Will you be okay staying alone? " Tanjiro asked remembering what happened last time when he went to the village.

"Don't worry, I'll be okay! " Nezuko said trying to make him feel better about leaving her alone in the house.

Tanjiro left for the village. When he got there, he tried to quickly get the ingredients and get back to the house, worried about Nezuko.

When he got back, he made soup for her and when she was done, she went back to sleep already.

Two days later....

Nezuko was feeling better now and was up on her feet again but then out of nowhere, a crow came with an important message for Tanjiro.

"Tanjiro Kamado, you and your sister are needed back at the headquarters. The demons have been getting stronger somehow and it seems like you, Kanao, Inosuke and Zenitsu are the last powerful demon slayers left. We need you. "

"Hai! We will be there soon! " said Tanjiro.

(Nezuko's POV)

When the crow uttered Zenitsu's name,  my heart skipped a beat and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I feel complete whenever someone takes his name, I don't know why though, why do I feel like this........
