Chapter 2

"I can't believe I'm actually moving to London with you Indi" Emilie states as we climb onto the train.

"Me neither, it's gonna be so fun living with you and the other girls" I say, as we sit down at the first two seats we find.

"How long does it take to get to London from here?" Emilie asks me.

"A long time" I reply, I unzip my bag and take out my iPod and earphones, I plug ip y earphones in and hand and side to Emilie who happily takes it and places it in her ears with no questions, I then go on to spotify and put on my playlist.

"I guess we have a lot of time for music" Emilie half laughs.

After about an hour of traveling a lady with a sweet tray comes round with food.

"Would you lady's like something to eat" the tray lady asks stopping beside us.

"Yes please" Emilie says as she gets her money out. "Can I have a packet of sherbet lemons and toffee please"

"Of course" the tray lady hands Emilie the sweets and Emilie gives her the money.

"Would you like anything love" the tray lady asks looking directly at me.

"Have you any soft drinks" I ask.

"Yes, what would you like"

"Two cans of cola please" the tray lady hands me two cans and I pay before she moves on to the next people. Emilie hands me a bag with half toffee sweets and half sherbet lemons, and I hand her one can.

The train slowly comes to a stop at kingscross station. I grab my bags and Emilie grabs her, we then stand up and follow the rest of the passengers of the train and on to the platform.

"Finally we're here" Emilie says as we make our way to the exit. "How are we getting to the apartment"

"That my friend is a very good question" I tell her as I put the last toffee sweet into my mouth. I have to admit I never made any arrangements for someone to pick us up at the train station and I'm not exactly sure where our apartment building is.

"You have got to be joking you didn't arrange for anyone to met us here" Emilie says. "Do your friends even know I'm coming to stay with them"

"Oh sh*t" I say as I remember not mentioning the fact that my best friend will be staying with us. Emilie just shakes her head at me while laughing at how in organised I am. We finally make our way out side and into the pouring rain. I didn't realise it was raining today and I haven't even brought a jacket with me. Oops.

"Indi, Indi" I suddenly hear a familiar voice shout from the far distance. "Indi over here" I grab hold of Emilie's arm and we start walking forward and soon I can see blossom, James and Charlie standing outside a black car. I let go of Emilie's arm and run up to them and give Charlie a hug as I haven't seen him in like ages.

"It's great to see yous again" I say as I pull away from Charlie and hug blossom, forgetting that my best friend is standing behind me. It isn't until Charlie says her name that I remember her.

"Emilie what are you doing here" Charlie asks her. The boys have met Emilie once before when they come to Scotland for my 16th birthday. The girls have met her a few time before.

"Indi invited me to come live her with her" Emilie explains "now can we please get in the car as I'm getting soaked"

"Yes right we better" James says and so we all get in and James starts driving.

"Is the apartment nice" I ask blossom as we get nearer to it.

"It's so beautiful and very girly, but it's only got 4 bedrooms so I'm not sure where Emilie's going to sleep" blossom tells me.

"It's ok she can share with me" I tell her.

After about 5 minutes James parks the car in the car park and we get out, I link arms with Emilie and we follow blossom, Charlie and James into the building.

"The boys live on the second floor, while we live on the fourth" blossom tells me as we all enter the elevator. Blossom the presses on the fourth floor bottom and the elevator starts moving upwards. The comes to a sudden stop and the doors open up. The elevator takes us right into our apartment living room. We step out and I look around the room. It's much bigger than I expected. The walls have black and white striped wallpaper on. There is a red and white couch and a matching chair in front of the black TV, which is standing on a low whote cabinet, next to the living room is the kitchen (the apartment is all open plan except bedrooms and bathroom) the kitchen is small it has a white breakfast stand and white counters, along with a pink fridge and white cooker, washing machine and dishwasher.

"Let me show you the bathroom" blossom opens the first door we come to which is the bathroom. The bathroom is all red and black. There is a black shower and bath. The tiles are red and the sink is shiny black.

"Next is the bedrooms" blossom takes us into the room next to the bathroom, which is violets bedroom, the bedroom only has three walls as the fourth one is a curtain type thing.

"The think with the room is, it was just one big room and so we had to make it into two as we needed 4 bedrooms and this apartment is only meant to be a three bedroom one" violet who is sitting on her bed tells us. Violets bedroom, is all white, the bed bed is a light brown wood and has white cover along with colourful pillows.

"The room on the other side is mine" blossom tells me as she pulls back the curtain" blossom part of the bedroom is smaller than violets. Blossoms bed is black and white along with the rest of it.

"Next room is leahs" blossom takes us into Leah's bedroom.
Leah's bedroom is white and blue. The bed is white painted wood and her bed covers are a bluey green, the same colour as her curtains.

"And finally your bedroom" blossom opens the door to the last bedroom and I walk in. The room walls or painted red and white, in the centre of the room is a single bed, with white and black and the is a red book shelfs along with a few other things.

"I love this room so much" I say as I give blossom a hug.

"Violet helped me decorate it with some help from Leah" blossom tells me,

"All we need is a bed for Emilie"
