Patrol || Chapter 1

𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯:

It was about 8:00pm when I was texting my group chat with my friends forgetting that I had patrol tonight with ladybug

Adrien: Hey guys! What's up?

Nino: nothin much hbu dude?

Adrien: uh pretty good do you all wanna hangout this Saturday??

Alya: Hmm sure, can we hang at your place it's so big compared to all of our houses

Adrien: Of course! Let me ask Nathalie to ask my dad for me that way he is more likely to say yes!

Nino: me and alya can come over at about noon if that works for you dude

Adrien: Great! Can Marinette come?

Alya: I don't know we should ask tomorrow I think she's sleeping, she hasn't answered my texts for over an hour.

I realized I had been absent for patrol for over an hour I quickly transformed and headed out onto the rooftops of Paris.

𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯

Chatnoir:" hey bugaboo lovely night tonight right "

Ladybug: " CHAT ARE YOU CRAZY YOU CAN'T BE AN HOUR LATE TO PATROL, CALL ME YOUR BUGABOO AND THEN COMMENT ON THE LOVLEY NIGHT WHERE HAVING "

Chatnoir: "Woah there I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers m'lady"

Ladybug : "I'm mad at you you go that way I'll go this way I'll meet you back at our spot in an hour. Got it? " she said in a very frustrated tone.

Chatnoir: "whatever you say bugaboo" he said with a smirk

ladybug shot him a look and continued on with her patrol. An hour later she returned to their special spot. She sat and waited for chatnoir thinking about the way she yelled at him just an hour before. She decided she should apologize since he might've had a good reason to be late and even if he didn't it still wasn't right for her to lash out on the person she loved the most.

After a while chatnoir showed up to their spot and say next to ladybug, who was very obviously shivering from the nights cold brisk breeze. She looked stressed there had been some pretty bad akuma attacks lately which was Stressful for both of them. He wished he could take all of her stress away, free her of her doubts and worries. His thoughts where interrupted by a familiar but shaky voice.

Chatnoirs pov

Ladybug: "chat... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for lashing out I'm sorry for yelling, I'm sorry for not being a worthy partner, I'm sorry I reject you, I'm sorry I make fun of your puns I'm sorry I hurt your feelings all the time you deserve better you deserve to be treated better. You should hate me I don't deserve your affection" she said as she broke into tears

My heart shattered there's nothing she could do that could ever make me hate her.

I grabbed and held her in a tight hug letting her cry it out on my shoulder I pulled away to make eye contact with her, my hands still gripping her shoulders tight. "M'lady there is nothing you will ever do to make me hate you it's okay for you to lash out at me I shouldn't be late, we will both make mistakes but no matter what I will still love you. " my eyes widened as soon as I said I loved her but I didn't regret it I looked at her and she looked back after processing what I just confessed.

Ladybug: "you.. Love me? " I couldn't tell if she was upset or not and I was too embarrassed to respond so instead I just blushed and nodded suddenly she pulled me in for a kiss I melted into her nothing else mattered anymore I was finally kissing the love of my life, my today my tomorrow my everything.

The kiss lasted a while but finally we broke off due to the lack of breathing "well I certainly wasn't expecting you to make a move so bold bugaboo"

"That kiss doesn't mean you can call me bugaboo pussycat. "

"Oh well does this kiss mean I can call you bugaboo"

Ladybug pov

Chat pulled me into another kiss I wish I could deny that he was a good kisser but man that was the best kiss of my life

"Okay maybe I'll think about it kitty.. " I said breathlessly

"Look how lucky we are to be alive right now....Till we meet again bugaboo"

I rolled my eyes and gave him a wave goodbye as I headed back home. To de transform

"I can't believe I just made out with chatnoir in front of the Eiffel Tower.. " I said while feeding tikki a strawberry macaroon

" I'm happy for you Marinette! " tikki said with a cute little smile and a reassuring look

Nobody's pov

The next day Marinette wakes up with a headache for the 3rd time this week she's been so stressed with the akuma attacks that it's starting to affect her health. She takes some Advil but then looks at the time and realizes she's about to be late for school... Again

She gets dressed and rushes out the door she takes a croissant to go and starts running to the school. Being her clumsy self she runs right into Adrien her school crush who she has liked forever. She turns red when she realizes who she just bumped into.

"i-im so sorry Adrien" she said while not looking him in the eye so she can reduce her nervousness.
Adriens pov

"No problem Marinette, do you want to walk to first period with me? "

" i-uh sure Adrien thank you "

This isn't the first time Marinette has ran into me from being in a rush after waking up late, I don't want to embarrass her I secretly know that she's had a crush on me forever I know I can easily make her nervous so for the greater good I try not to make eye contact with her.

Me and Marinette sit next to each other in first period which is pretty nice considering she's the only person I know in that class other than Chloe

She sits as close as she can to the wall that's farthest from me to "respect me and my space " but I know it's so she can focus on school instead of on me what she doesn't know is that I've had a crush on her for 3 years now I'm just not obvious about it. I move closer to her in my seat but not too close just yet I've decided that since we've liked eachother this long I should make some moves. I figured this shouldn't be a problem since I'm in civilian form and Marinette is practically my daytime ladybug.

Some time passes by and I notice Marinette is trying her very hardest not to look at me so obviously I move closer, close enough to where our knees were touching as soon as I move I acted clueless by looking at the teacher and taking notes, in the corner of my eye I see Marinette red as a tomato struggling to focus. I think it's cute that I have such an effect on her so I scoot just barley so our legs are touching completely.

"CAN I BATHROOM GO??? " Marinette shouted shortly after I moved in my seat. the teacher, quite alarmed nodded and Marinette bolted out the door which made me chuckle just a bit.
