personality: mika has an ambivert type of personality. she has her moments of being reserved and being kept to herself. on the other hand, she can be pretty outgoing. she is kind and sweet, enjoys being helpful. she can be a bit clever and witty here and there just for the fun of it or making a remark. however, she isn't sly and mischievous as to how an actual fox is. she goes against that sort of thing. she hates being defined as one, especially since she's the zodiac of the fox. it's annoying and bothersome to her, which has definitely affected her past.
likes: art, books, listening to music, flowers.
dislikes: people who are just straight up rude/vile, math, fakers, being put down, bullies, akito.
backstory: mika was fortunate enough to have caring and loving parents. of course, it was difficult at first for her parents to understand and accept that she is a zodiac member. as they had learned, accepted, and gotten used to her transformations to a fox from time to time, especially when her father would hold her. less freak outs over time. they thought her fox form was cute to them. furthermore, as she was a child, the other sohma kids who were not a part of the zodiac members didn't want to play with her as they knew that she was a fox and defined her as sly and untrustworthy. it's as if they were afraid of her. of course, this made her upset and she remained in her inner circle of being with the zodiac members even though she wanted to reach out with the other non-zodiac sohma kids within the sohma's village. as she gotten slightly older, she became really good friends with rin, kagura, haru, and momiji as they didn't judge her for being a fox and didn't define her as the traits of a fox. they accepted her for who she was as a person. (this also goes for yuki, kyo, and tohru when she meets them later down the line). later on, when she was about 12-13, she soon became friends with yuki after the fact he was freed from akito's hold. around that same time frame, she later met kyo and befriended him after the fact he grew comfortable with her presence which took some time. when she was 16, she met tohru. she was surprised that tohru wasn't afraid of her when she found out mika's zodiac animal. tohru accepted her for who she was and didn't define her as the traits that a fox would have. she saw her as her own person. she thought of mika as more than a fox. soon, they quickly became friends.
