Chapter 8

*Madeline's P.O.V.*

"I'd take you to the end of the world Ms. Rose." It kept on replaying in my head.

The way he said it. The sound of His voice. His mouth moving as he said those words. His eyes-

Stop it Madeline. He's a poor. Mother wouldn't be happy.

My phone rang. I checked the name.

'Stephanie.'

I smiled. It was Stephanie. My rich friend. My good friend.

I accepted the Call and perked up instantly when I heard her say

"Mads, are you coming already?"

"Of course I am Steph. I would go to the end of the world for you." I said instantly regretting it.

I looked at Brandon and he was so focused on the road. His eyes glittered at the fact that he was driving. Did he not drive so much?

Impossible. Daddy wouldn't accept him if he didn't drive.

But Brandon. Why is he so focused on the road?

"Because Ms. Rose, you need to be while you drive. Don't wanna have a car crash now do we?" He said.

Speechless. I was speechless. He instantly started laughing. And it was soothing.

"Ms. Rose, if you meant why I liked driving it's because I made a promise. To my mom actually. She told me to always follow my dreams. And I did. As I followed the road. Driving. It's my dream Ms. Rose. My passion." He said. Taking a glance at me through the little mirror thingy at the middle top of the car window.

I smiled. Maybe I was wrong about Brandon. Maybe I was.

"Mads! What's wrong?! Why aren't you answering?!" I heard through my phone. I took a glance at Brandon then hanged up my phone.

"Brandon. Take me to Love Waterfall. It's just a few mile-"

"I'd take you to the end of the world Ms. Rose."
