Jasmines POV:
 
  Its been 4 years since I've been at the ministry, and since I've seen my old friend. I look up at the big doors leading into the ministry, feeling a little nervous wondering if it is the same as I had last seen it.

The door suddenly open and sister Imperator walks out with a smile on her face.

"Ah, sister Jasmine it is a pleasure to have you back, I've missed you all these years." Sister Imperator says walking toward me.

"Thank you sister Imperator it's amazing to be back." I say smiling at her as she leads me inside. As we enter through the big black doors, I see a man I have never seen. He's fairly tall, and has paint on his face but not like any I've seen. He's wearing black cassocks and talking to another sister of sin, but he doesn't look very interested in the conversation.

"Ah Cardinal, this is sister Jasmine she is a new sister of sin." Sister imperator says as we walk to the cardinal, and the sister of sin he was talking to walks away.

"Oh, hello I'm Cardinal Copia, it is a pleasure to have you here." He says smiling at me. A ghoul walks up to sister imperator and whispers something in her ear.

"Yes very well." She says to the ghoul. "I must be off, papa Nihil need to see me, I'll leave you two to get to know one another." She says walking away with the ghoul

I look at the Cardinal smiling "so how long have you worked here-" I start to say but the door suddenly burst open and Terzo comes running through them.

"Jasmine!" He yells running towards me with open arms

"Terzo!" I yell as I put my bag down and run to him, giving him the biggest hug. Terzo and I hug for awhile and Copia stares at us a confused look on his face.

Terzo pulls away from the hug with tears in his eyes "I can't believe your here Jaz!" He says as tears roll down his face, his makeup a little smudged.

"Aw Terz why are you crying?" I ask wiping the tears from his face.

"I've just missed you so much, it's been to long" he says bringing me back into a hug.

Copia scratches the back of his neck, "So you two know each other?" He says pointing at us both.

I pull away from Terzo and turn to look at Copia, "Terzo and I grew up here together, but when I was transferred to a different ministry we lost contact." I say looking up at Terzo.

"O-oh you grew up here?" Copia asks tilting his head slightly to the left. Terzo nods still wiping tears from his face.

"We were practically inseparable." I say punching Terzo arm playfully.

Terzos eyes suddenly open wide "Oh Jaz your room is across from mine, here let me show you where it is!" He says grabbing my bag and holding my hand in his free hand, pulling me with him.

I turn to Copia waving goodbye, "it was nice meeting you Cardinal!" I yell as Terzo pulls me through the door.

Copia waves back, "it was nice meeting you as well sister Jasmine." He says as I disappear through the door with Terzo.

Copias POV:

As Jasmine disappears through the door I let go of my breath not knowing that I was holding it. I feel butterflies in my stomach and feel my cheeks start to burn up a little. 'What's happening to me?' I think as I make my way to my office rubbing the back of my neck.

As I walk into my office I see a new stack of papers on my desk waiting to be done. I sigh and I sit in my chair grabbing the paper on top. I grab my pen and start to work but my mind keeps drifting to sister Jasmine. I try to push her out of my mind but it's hopeless.

I put down my pen rubbing my head when I hear laughing out my window. I stand up and walk to the window looking down at the ministry grounds. My eyes wander but stop when I see Sister Jasmine and Terzo laying in the grass together. Jasmine start laughing at something Terzo said and I can't help but feel a ping of jealousy in my stomach as I watch the two.

"What am I thinking, I just met her. Satan, why am I feeling this?" I say running my hands through my hair, walking to a cabinet. I take out a bottle of whiskey and walk over to my seat as I pour whiskey into the empty glass on my desk. I put the bottle down and grab the glass taking a drink, leaning on my desk.

The knock at my door pulls me out of my thoughts "come in!" I say and a sister of sin walks in.

"Here are some papers from sister Imperator, she would like them done by the end of the week." She says putting the papers down on my desk.

"Thank you sister." I say through gritted teeth, trying to hide my annoyance at the amount of paperwork. She walks out and I walk to the couch in front of the window. I stare at Sister Jasmine and Terzo outside and before I knew it, the sun had set and it was dark out.

'Might as well get to work' I think as I walk to my desk, grabbing my pen.

Jasmines POV:

"We should get inside Terz, it's getting late." I say sitting up and looking at Terzo.

He smiles at me and stands up "ya probably." He replies as we walk back inside the ministry and make our way to our rooms. We part ways as we enter our rooms, as I walk in I see a note on my bed.

I walk over to my bed and open the note.

Dear Sister Jasmine,

Your job here is Cardinal Copia's personal assistant. You will help him with paperwork or other duties, and you will attend meetings with him where you will write notes that will be important to Cardinal Copia. You start tomorrow at 8:00 am.

I put the note on my nightstand and I walk to my closet where I find my uniforms but they look more like normal dresses. I grab my night clothes and change into them and climb into bed. My mind wanders to the Cardinal and what working for him will be like.

Well this is the first chapter. What do you guys think? Sorry for any typos or terrible writing skills. There wasn't really any interactions with Copia and Jasmine but don't worry there soon will be, Anyway have a good day/night!!
