Some people would be thinking that I am rich, with a happy life and a happy story to tell but all of them are wrong. I am an orphan I don't know why my parents left me in the orphanage maybe they did it to protect me or maybe I was too much of a hassle, a mistake, or maybe, as soon as the thought came to my mind I shook my head and tried my best to not to think about it.

My name is Maryam Malik and I am a 17-year-old girl working for my survival. I am just like every other worker in America. With a normal job to fill my tummy and pay the rent which I am a little behind this month. I work in Dunk' in Donuts it's a nice place for someone like me to work. I am 5'7 with black hair and black eyes, I weigh almost about 47 kg, I know it's too much but what can you do if you work in a place like this. Through the salary, I can pay my rent for my apartment and buy one or two dresses and with some savings, I will finally be able to buy proBook6460b it's an awesome laptop.

Just like any other day for some reason, I get late for my job and my boss curses me with every ounce of anger in her. She is bossy but sometimes she helps me out with my problems, Sometimes she is completely a different person like, either she is as kind as a mother and sometimes as angry as... well as humanly possible. When I was lost in my thoughts my friend Lilly came and started to tell me about the boys sitting at the table which she was serving and how hot they were. She is like that. A typical girl with as many crushes as they come.

Those boys that Lilly is serving to don't look from around here, maybe they are from a different town or something. "So what did they order?" Our boss Mrs.Thompson asked."Oh yes! yes! Two chocolate milkshakes and a cappuccino".The rest of the day just passed normally like it does every other day. Customers come and go some bring a story with them and some make up one.

So today is Friday and finally, after finishing my shift, I was going back to my apartment because it was just 7 minutes away from here I was going to walk, since it was within walking difference, while reading a supernatural Novel. I know I know they are not real but still, I like to read novels based on them. So what if they aren't but the chills you get....." off!!!!". Sometimes I like to think what if supernatural beings are real and are only hiding from Humans or maybe they don't want to be found either way I still like the sound of them.

After a short walk to my apartment, I was right about to enter the lobby when I heard people fighting when I decided to see who was fighting and why I walked in the direction of the voice and found 8-9 people fighting. I was shocked, not just because they were fighting but because of something so unreal. I stopped dead in my tracks. What horror lied in front of me was something only imaginable. But after seeing their faces I could tell that "they" are not people or were whatever....but what they were was something else. Just as I decided to get away from them all of them suddenly stopped fighting, the atmosphere around changed and all of them started to stare at me. Some were in "Awe" and some in fear, some hesitated to even stop and some were gazing into my eyes. After starring at each other for a while, I saw some of them starting to 'change', the people with pale white skin had grown long fangs and the others got canines and their eyes shifted colors from their normal to bright yellow. And when I thought the weird part was over... Oh boy, was I wrong? One of them stepped forward and I heard someone growl, I swear I heard a growl. The guy who stepped forward watched me for some time before speaking the two words that changed my world completely those words were, "My Queen" everyone bowed their heads and went down on their knees. Right After that something black covered my face and whoever did that I can tell you that his hands were shivering, then this person drugged me with a syringe and everything started to faint my head started to feel very light and right after that, blackness covered my vision.
