High atop the jagged peaks of the Forbidden Range stood the foreboding Mountain of Shadows, its summit hidden within a perpetual shroud of darkness. Legend spoke of a sacred artifact known as the Sunstone, hidden deep within its treacherous depths. It was said to possess the power to banish darkness and restore light to the realm.
