A girl was seen lying in the middle of the road covered in blood .

People surrounded her.

But no one called for help.

A girl was lying somewhere.

Slowly her two brown eyes open .

She looks around and sees that it was a dark space and suddenly she sees two eyes and gets unconscious.

11 March, 1927 ,

London

Third pov :

It was night time .

A women was walking on a road .

She had a baby with her.

It was a newborn baby .

The women went towards an alley and saw an orphanage.

It was Wool's orphanage.

She quickly entered it .

She quickly put the baby down on a wooden basket and
Put a necklace around her neck .

She also put a letter above her .

She slowly sat down and looked at her baby for the last time and kissed her on her forehead.

And whispered something in her ears .

And then she saw someone coming towards her direction.

She kissed her again and said " I love you sweetheart"

And went from there .

Another women came with an oil lamp in her hand.

As she came closer she saw a little baby sleeping in a basket.

She quickly picked her up and took her inside.

She saw a letter .

She opened the letter and read it.

She looked at the baby for some time.

She then went to call another women.

It was Mrs Cole .

Mrs Cole saw the child and then turned towards the women who picked up the child from outside .

"Lara you know we can't afford to have another orphan .
We don't have enough resources." Said Mrs Cole

"But Mrs Cole i will raise her myself . She doesn't have anyone." Said Lara

"Ok but what's her name " asked Mrs Cole

"Maeve Kard" said Lara.

Suddenly Maeve started crying.

Lara took her in her arms and tried calming her .

And surprisingly Maeve slept again.

Next Day

Today the weather was nice .

Lara woke up earlier than her time .

She did her work and saw Maeve starting to get up .

She immediately prepared the milk and feed her .

After that she went back to her house work.

At the noon time Lara called everyone and took Maeve with her and introduced her .

Everyone welcomed her.
