An Unexpected Union Begins

"Time is 2:30 am July 20, 2023. Status I have managed the location. All preparations are ready and we are set for today." I say softly into my small microphone while staring blankly at my computer screen, notes and information scrolling and jumbling in my brain. "Oh why does it take this much time to plan one mission?"

*RING RING*

"Oh lord what now?" The number on my screen indicates my boss Kim Sangmin.

Sang: "Have you uploaded the files?"

Y/N: "No Sang. Im..."

Sang: "Do it NOW before anything else! You know how critical that information is to the Agency!"

Y/N: "Yes sir right away. My apologies."

Sang: "Also I have a special case for you. Sorry this is over the phone and so sudden but we need a bodyguard. You will be guarding a Kpop band tonight called BTS."

Oh GREAT another bodyguard job.

Sang: "Their other bodyguard quit and they need someone with special skills due to a threat that they were given. Someone is going to try and hurt one of the members and you need to be there to stop them. Can you do that?"

Y/N: "Yes I can do that. Where will I be stationed? So I can research?"

Sang: "That is undecided as of now since this job only came up a few hours ago. I can tell you that after this we will need you to find the sources of other threats they have been sent. This one wasn't the only one is what im saying. Just for now assime you will be closer to the audience and stage so you can stop potential threats."

Y/N: "Alright. I will meet you at the vendor hall then. Goodnight Sang." I hang up and sag into my chair. "Why at 2 AM THOUGH!!? I need some sleep..."

...my eyes feel heavy as my vision blurs. My body feels weak and starts to feel as though someone tossed a weighted blanket on my head...

"OH SHOOT THE FILES"

I sit up way to fast and before passing out from the sudden jerk my body made I send the files and delete them going back through and cutting all ties and link traces. Confidentiality is key in this business.

"Alright now I can...."

*BEEP BEEP...... BEEP BEEP*

Oh man are my ears ringing or..." I stare at my clock with the sun beeming warmly on my face. 7:24 am. "Oh good! I got a bit extra sleep!"

I trudge to my bathroom and closet and get ready for the day. "Hmmm. Its my day off so sweats and a t-shirt I guess." I walk dowstairs to the hotel loby where breakfast is served! The agency was nice enough to rent out my room for a few weeks.

*sniffing the air*

"COFFEE!!! Oh thank the Lord above!!"

I sprint, well stumble down the stairs given the elevator is always crowded and...

*BANG* I bump into someone

Y/N: " OH MY IM SO SORR..." I stutter out

???: "Oh man Im sorry! Didn't see you there!"

I look up to see a tall handsome man who kinda looked like a Kpop Idol or something. He had brown hair and wide, doe like, dark brown eyes. He rubbs the back of his head and kinda looks embarrassed.

Y/N: "No it was my fault I should have looked where I was going haha."

???: "It's alright. Umm. Im Jungkook nice to meet you!"
