It's weekend so I was in the kitchen doing dishes.
Just then the doorbell rang.
"Coming." I shouted while running towards the main door.
I found den was in the living room.
*Didn't he heard the doorbell?* I rolled my eyes and went to the door. Just to see
Auntie Lina, Den's mom.
"Heyyy!!! sweetie how are you? ." She said hugging me with a smile on her face as I smiled and hugged her.
"I'm doing good auntie how are you?" We break the hug as she looked towards me still smiling.
"I'm more better now after seeing you." She looked at me from head to down as I back off to made way for her to come inside.
"Wow this house still same and beautiful." She roamed her eyes over the house.
"And only because of you." She said turning back towards me.
She walked towards the living room. Den saw her.
And walked towards her with a smile.
"Mom.." he hugged her.
I never seen him smiling like that with others. I my were gotten little wide.
*Tsk*Cold guy*

Ava POV;
After dinner we're chatting.
"So it's your final exam after one months?" Him mom asked looking both of us.
We nodded.
"Then prepare well. You guys have to get good marks"
"And sweetie ask den if you have any problem with your study." She said as I peak over den he's already staring towards me.
"Okay auntie." I laugh awkwardly.
"For now good night both of you, I'm tired I want some rest." She said heading towards her room that I have already cleaned earlier.
"Good night auntie." I said
Then den also got up from couch
"Forget what mom just said, don't bother me, find someone else." He said in cold tune and went upstairs.
*Pfffffff.*
*I don't need your help.*
*Next morning.*
Den's mom was making breakfast. When Ava was trying to take over the work from her as she just came yesterday she should rest.
But Mrs Lina didn't agreed.
They all did there breakfast.
"Bye mom." Den said ready to leave but his mom stopped him.
"Boy why are you going alone? Did you forget about Ava?" She said as my eyes went little wide.
* shit.*
I forgot her words,
That we have to go school together and come home together.
She said that before leaving.
"Auntie I haven't finished yet, and It'll be late if he waits for me, so he must be leaving that's why." I tried to defend
But-
"No wait for her and leave together okay." With that she left from there.
I looked over den still food in my mouth.
"I thought your brain is short like you, but impressed with the defensive word." He said
"Eat fast, will you?" He added and rolled his eyes.
He was waiting for me infront of the house.
I chewed as fast as I can and ran out from the house.
"Let's go."
Then we started walking.
He's walking so fast I can't walk in his pace.
"Can't you just walk little slower, like I got short legs. And even this bag is also heavy." I said trying to catch my breath.
"Because your height is short." He mumble but enough for me to heard.
"Yes I am so what ?" I said facing him, I was annoyed with his behavior.
"Can't you just be friendly and break the ice inside you. Can't you just stop being cold?" I said
"What....???? do you want to pick a fight with me? If you, then I don't have time. I'm already late because of you and I don't want to stand outside... especially with you." He said with blank face and turn around
He again looked back " and if you think I'll carry that bag for you then come out from your illusion. ." With that he started walking
"Wtf I didn't said that, ughhhh Wait for me." I ran and started walking beside him.
*Time skip.*
I peaked his way and again looked back.
"Stop looking at me." He said in annoyed voice.
"Sorry." I whisper.
Yes we're late and now standing infront of the teachers office.
"This is all because of you." He said without looking at me.
*Scoff.*
"Excuse me. I'm not the only one in the fault, it's your fault too. Why didn't you left after coming outside from the home."
I said as he didn't spoke.
"You should have left instead of waiting for me I didn't told you to wait it's auntie."
"So you're indirectly telling that it's my mom's fault huh?" He raised his one eyebrow
"I didn't said that either." I pouted and looked away
"Just shut your mouth." He spoke
I didn't dare to speak.
