NORRAY: The Night I Met You

Chapter 26

3rd person POV

"HE DID WHAT!?!?" Ray screamed. Norman was trying to calm him down

"H-He must've stabbed himself or something!! There was so much blood from his stomach! ...I-I don't know if he's alive anymore....An average human can't survive with that much blood taken out..." Emma said tearing up

"This is all my fault....Literally all my fault!!! I SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN LIKE THAT TO HIM AND NOW HES TRYING TO COMMIT SUCIDE!" Ray began to cry and covered his face in shame

"He could still be alive! But it's not going to be an easy recovery." Norman said comforting Ray

"If he dies...Im never gonna be the same. I don't want him to die! As much as I CANT stand him I don't want him too die!!!!" Ray said

"Im gonna drive to the hospital later on tomorrow to see if I can visit him or anything!" Emma said

"Im going too!!" Ray said

*TIME SKIP*

Emma and Ray were on the way to the nearest hospital of where Atlas was.

"Ray, it's going to be okay. Just think positive and don't worry." Emma said stopping at a red light.

Ray deeply sighed "I know I know...! It's just that...He's always been like this. Whenever he gets extremely upset , he gets to the point where he wants to destroy himself. I've told him multiple times to seek a therapist and he says he doesn't need that."

Emma raised an eyebrow and drove "Why though? ...A therapist can clearly help him"

"Tell me about it. He says they're useless and they barley know how to do their job."

"Okay first off, they do know their job. He probably met a 2 star therapist!"

Ray chuckled a little "Im pretty sure he did."

Emma gave him a warm smile. "It's gonna be okay. Im just absolutely thankful that the police found about this before worse things could happen."

"Agreed."

After 20 minutes, Ray and Emma entered the hospital.

"Atlas Lee!" Ray said to the receptionist. "Are we able to visit?"

"That I don't know of. Let me call the doctor that's dealing with him." The receptionist said punching numbers onto the phone

Ray was getting worried; Emma could feel it.

After a minute a doctor came in.

"You're Ray right?" The doctor asked

"Yes sir! I am here to ask if me and my friend are able to visit Atlas?"

The doctor has a frown on his face "Im sorry but you can't."

"Why?" Emma asked getting mad

"He's scheduled for surgery in an hour. The procedure shouldn't last more than 5-6 hours."

"Wait what...!? I-Is he gonna be okay??!" Ray said getting worried

"We hope so! His wounds aren't minor at all and he did a lot of damage to himself. So we're not certain if he's going to live or not. It's not going to be a fast recovery of what he did"

"What did he possibly do to himself?" Asked Emma

"He practically tried to commit suicide" the doctor said

"I knew it..." Ray said under his breath

" Basically he stabbed himself all the way to his heart and stomach. Which caused a large amount of blood to get out of him."

"But he's going to make it....right?" Asked Emma

"We're not sure of that, ma'am. It's likely for him to live and likely for him to not. All we can say is pray for him and we'll see what we can do.-"

"See what we can do...? See what we can do...?!?! SEE WHAT WE CAN DO MY ASS! I SWEAR ON MY LIFE IF YOU AND YOUR SILLY NURSES DONT DO THIS WELL , YOULL REGRET THE DAY YOU WERE BORN!!!" Ray screamed.

He was trying to fight the doctor but Emma helped him back

"Ray please!!!"

"NO! LET ME GO! LET ME FUCKING GO!!! IF YOU KILL HIM YOURE GOING TO REGRET IT!!!!!"

"Sir!! There isn't more we can do!! All we're praying for is a good surgery that's all! There isn't any else we can do!!" The doctor yelled

"Emma we're getting out of here!! Fuck you and your stupid career!" Ray said exiting the building

Emma followed "Ray, you shouldn't have acted like that!"

"I don't give a fuck! Even though we aren't together anymore, I don't want him to die...!! If he does my life is over! I regret saying all those things to him that made him upset and he's a very soft person so i should've known that!! Now all thanks to him if he dies it's my fault!!"

"It's not your fault!! Now you know and that's how we learn! Look, just stay positive for his surgery."

Ray began to cry in Emma's arms. He really didn't want Atlas to die. He really didn't. He prayed as hard as he can for him to live. Even though he didn't care for Atlas and how he's overdramatic, he never wished death on him at all.
