Shining Lights

Chapter 1

'Oh God...' Thought Izuku Midoriya as he walked to the front gates of U.A. He had been dreaming about this moment for all his life, but he somehow couldn't shake his nervousness. It's not like he couldn't pass, hell, his quirk was considered to be as powerful as some pro heroes, but nonetheless, he walked... and then tripped

'You're fucking kidding' Izuku thought as his face plummeted towards the ground. Suddenly he felt weightless as he landed back on his feet. "Good thing I saved you in time, falling before exams would be pretty awful!"

Izuku turned around to see a brunette girl, most likely the same age as him. "Thank you.. uh-"

"Ochaco Uraraka" she said, finishing his sentence. "See you at exams!" she walked off, and Izuku followed.

***timeskip to the written exam****

Izuku looked at his test booklet, and quickly realized this would be easy. Not only was he powerful he was really smart. If only he got bitche- *CUT* After about 15 minutes, he got up and turned his paper in to a.. rat? mouse? He didn't know. "You're free to leave, just exit and take a right, then wait until the bell for everyone else." Whispered the rat mouse. "Alright, thank you." Izuku quietly opened the door, but it slammed shut. "Fuck!" Izuku thought

"Trying to throw off the other students?" Said a bubbly voice from behind. Izuku turned around and saw possibly the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her long, sky blue hair, matched with her curves and gorgeous eyes made her impossible to not stare in awe at. Izuku snapped out of his trance. "U-uh I really didn't m-mean to I just-" The girl laughed "Im messing with you!" she said while laughing. "Anyways, what's your name? What's your quirk? How did you finish so quickly? Oh oh! Do you have an IQ quirk?Are you nervous? Do you think you'll pass?" She blurted

"Izuku Midoriya, Light Manipulation, I'm just smart, I think my quirk boosts my IQ I'm not sure, I'm pretty nervous, I think I'll pass though" Izuku answered, to the suprise of the blue haired girl. "Nobody has ever been able to keep with my questions like that! Wow!" she exclaimed. "Well, since you shared all that about you, I guess it's my turn! I'm Nejire Hado, my quirk is Wave Motion, and this is my third year at U.A!" She said said with a smile that was so beautiful it could end wars. Izuku was in awe again, but quickly snapped out of it. "Well I should get going now, nice meeting you Nejire-San! He said as he walked away. Izuku cursed himself as he walked, when Nejire was no longer in sight. 'Come on man! You just met her why are you calling her by her first name! I bet she thinks I'm weird now ugh"

Nejire POV

Nejire was stuck staring at him walk away. 'What's this feeling? I don't know, but it's like I just want it talk to him more. I really hope he makes it into to U.A. He was kinda cute.

Narrator POV

Izuku went into the room and say a couple people in there. He decided to take a little nap...

BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

Izuku jumped up from his seat. He realized it was the bell the rat-mouse was talking about and sat back down. Soon, people poured into the auditorium and the pro hero Present Mic explained all about the physical part about the entrance exam. Soon everyone walked out and waited for someone to start. Izuku saw a two point robot and sneakily blasted it with a light beam. "What are you doing?! We must wait until an authoritative figure says start!" Said a blue haired boy with engines on his legs." Izuku ignored him and the voice of Present Mic bleeped. "The kid with the green hair is right on! Real heroes don't wait for someone to tell them to attack!" And so, the exam began

Izuku was on fire. He had destroyed about 20 three pointers, 10 two pointers and 15 1 pointers. He was also literally on fire, as a drawback of his quirk. Izuku sat down to cool off. 'With the rate I'm going, I'll definitely get enough points' he was just gonna chill for the rest of the exam until he heard a cry "Help!" a voice that sounded like the girl that had saved him shouted he went over there and found her leg to be trapped under rubble. Suddenly, a giant thud shook the battle ground as the 0 pointers emerged, and rapidly approached the brunette and Midoriya.

"Welp, this is going to hurt" Izuku said as he jumped to the zero pointers but, didn't stop going straight through its head, and wrapping the robot in light ropes until it imploded (cough cough submarine) then disentegrated as if it never existed. Izuku floated back down and felt as if he were missing something.. oh right the girl! Izuku disintergrated the rock on Ururaka's leg, turning it into straight ash. "Are you alright?" Asked Midoriya as he picked her up. "Not really, my leg really hurts" she said, with pain in her voice. "Bring her to me child, I can help her." Said an old, feeble voice. Izuku handed her to the old lady, who he figured out to be recovery girl. She kissed her head, and Uraraka's expression changed from hurt, to fine to sleepy.

"I'll take it from here, thank you." Said recovery girl. "Alright, no problem" A second bell sounded, indicating the end of the exam. Izuku exited, and caught a bus home.

"How was it dear?" Inko Midoriya, Izuku's mom asked as she cooked dinner. "How did Katsuki do?" Izuku pondered. Him and Katsuki were in different sections, but he had a gut feeling he made it. Ever since Katsuki has stuck up for Deku for developing his quirk a bit later than everyone else, they had been lifelong friends, and rivals. "I think I did pretty good. Also, I didn't really see Katsuki, but I have a feeling he passed and will be in 1-A along side me." Inko smiled "Wonderful! Now, can you help me set the table?" "Yes ma'am" Izuku responded, as he got up from the couch.

After eating, Izuku did his daily chore of checking the mail. He saw an envelope labeled U.A, HEROIC DEPT, T. YAGI. Izuku took the mail inside, and walked up to his room. He took whatever was in the mail out and a hologram popped out of All Might, Izuku's favorite hero. "Greetings, young Midoriya! You are receiving this message because of your stellar performance during the entrance exams! Not only did you get the highest amounts of points out of all participants, but you also displayed dominance, strength, bravery, and most importantly, heroism. This is why we are not only accepting you into U.A, but offering you training sessions with U.A's big three, the strongest students here! Your homeroom teacher will inform you about more details. I'm excited to see you at U.A, this is All Might, signing off! Go beyond, Plus Ultra!" The hologram ended.

This sure was a long day.
