L's POV

I just finished my live with the other candidates.

It was a short talk but between Wendy, Miss Grand Canada and Dita, Miss Grand Indonesia, I think I would likely to befriend the former.

Wendy had a light aura. It would seem that she is an approachable person and very much has a bubbly personality.

Dita on the other hand seems kinda serious for someone so young. Her answers were all contest ready though, I would give her that. It just goes to show that what people would be seeing of her is what she only wanted to share.

It was then when I got a message from my younger sister Chiquita that alerted me.

P'Lis, I just watched your live, suay mak. She praised. But did you hear, you trended online because of one of the candidates declaration. And what she did was kinda cute. It is like a public declaration of her admiration. I could only shake my head for the nonsense that my sister was talking about.

And she accompanied the message with a video link of what she was talking about.

The video contained a woman stating "She is Miss Grand Thailand. Miss Lisa Manoban. I cannot wait to interact with her."

And damn is that woman pretty. I tried replaying the video wanting to remember as to where I saw this Asian beauty. I can feel my cheeks somehow burning though, I am absolutely not blushing right now.

It was then when my cellphone pinged again indicating that I have received yet again another message from my sister.

Isn't she a beauty, P'Lis? She was the one you could not stop talking about before, Jennie Kim. Do you remember?

A realization came across me hearing her name. Yes, indeed I was able to see Jennie Kim when she competed for Miss Grand South Korea.

My sister being a die hard supporter of Korean culture and knowing that I entered Miss Grand she forced me to look into the competition from another country. She said that I might be friends of one of those girls in the competition or maybe I could find someone I would like.

It was not a secret to my family after all that I am open to have a relationship with anyone regardless of their gender.

It was then when I got hooked at a familiar cat eyed beauty when she took the stage.

I believed I was entraced by her that I was not able to get what my sister was saying.

Chiquita then began to tease me about it that Jennie Kim made me speechless. And I could not disagree with her at all.

I mean who wouldn't, the woman was gorgeous.

I could only smile at the memory while looking at the face of Jennie Kim in my phone. I guess I am indeed interested to know her after all.

Minutes later I received another email from the management.

This time it contained the following: Good evening candidates for the next live we would like to pair the following candidates. Miss Grand Thailand, Miss Grand Australia and Miss Grand South Korea.

Your live is one of the anticipated once for the week, we hope to get to know you more.

And after reading it all I can say is that the managements move is all for clout. Publicity stunt knowing how Jennie and I trended they wanted to see how it would go by pairing us up together.

I could only shake my head at it. But then I realize it was an opportunity I had hoped for. After all this would be my first ever interaction with Jennie Kim.
