2002. It's my 21st birthday. A lot has changed from when I first met Bret and first came to this place. I made more friends and finally a chick! Lita. She's so cool. It was her idea to dress up and go to a club even at the end of February. I wore a thigh high black dress with lace long sleeves and black heels that I can surprisingly walk very well in.
"How does it feel finally being 21!?" Lita hugged me after she had quite a few drinks in.
"Well maybe I am hoping to marry a wrestler.. I am totally joking!" I laughed.
"Kota please, you're a snack! A whole meal. I would date you if I wasn't with matt." Lita laughed and I just shook my head.
Lita has also started teaching me about working out. Just for fun but part of me wonders just how fun wrestling is.
That night we fell asleep in the same hotel room bed. I smiled. Finally things were calmer. I thought about Owen, who broke his neck and back a few years ago, he can never wrestle again but at least he's okay. A lot has happened.
And a blizzard was about to come.
