sorry it's been so long...
Chapter Two.
I had to pry myself away from Jacob, I mean he just looks so damn dreamy. He kind of looked at me like he was hurt when I pulled away, but I had to, we had to get going. I was pretty sure that the rest of the Crew was waiting for us. Just incase you were wandering, we didn't walk around the place calling ourselves 'the Crew', it's just something that we happened to be, and it'd been this way since middle school. At least for Deserai, Ashton, Mahogany, Billie, Sam, and Jason. Jess, had moved here her freshman year, that's when Ashton and her started talking. Jacob and Cameron moved here during the summer, and luckily got caught up in all of the things that they're involved in.
By the time we stopped kissing, the once packed parking lot is now deserted.
"Ha, uhm, how mad do you think they'll be when the see that we made them wait," he paused looking at his phone to I guess check the time. "Dang, fifteen minutes?"
I laughed at his facial expression, he always made the cutest ones. "WHOA, a whole fifteen minutes!" I said with complete sarcasm. "Jacob, they're big kids, they can fend for themselves at a café."
"Eh, I know, but you know how they are," He said referring to how our friends refuse to order without everyone all there. Sweet, right?
"Well, you attacked me." I stated with a smirk.
"You know, it didn't act as if you hated it very much." He replied, "so, yeah, don't go there."
"Blah, blah, blah!" I teased. "Can we go now? 'You know how they are.'" I mocked.
Jacob just glared at me and started the car.
The radio came on blasting from our car ride to early bad rehearsal this morning. It's a Taylor Swift song because we took his car, and that meant I got to control the radio.
When Jacob and Cameron moved here I was the first of the Crew to meet them, they happened to be moving in right next door to me. I asked their family if they needed any help with the process, of course, they took my assistance. After we were done, I asked if they wanted to meet my friends, so that their first day of school wouldn't be as hard, I mean it must really suck to be the new kid. They had obviously agreed. And when I found out that they were both in band and football I had hooked them up with our head band director right away, along with the head football coach. Needless to say, I was really excited about meeting these two.
The car ride to the café with my new boyfriend was not awkward in anyway. It's something we've gotten used to. During the summer when we went places it was usually the two of us in a car because Cameron hated car rides with his younger brother. I always thought it was a little weird, but I never questioned it.
When we got to the café the whole Crew was sitting in their cars. So, I text Mahogany.
'Why are y'all sitting in the cars?'
'Errrrrr, your not-so-best friend, Candise, is in there. Seeing as how you and Jacob are together, we didn't know if you'd wanna switch locations?'
Reading her reply really burned me up inside. Like how dare she think I'm afraid of that bitch.
'IDGAF about her and her little clan. I'm hungry, I have been craving their veggie nachos allele effin day. We're goin' in!' I replied, then turning to glare at her.
I'm guessing she could feel my stare because she turned and shot me an apologetic look. It sort of read I-didn't-mean-it-like-that.
I softened my expression, she smiled.
